Another charming business in downtown Poulsbo. We love the friendly staff and the wide selection of chocolates!
Be sure to stop by and get a delicious hand-dipped in homemade chocolate ice cream bar, rolled in nuts and toffee. So yummy!
We purchased a variety of candy and were worried that it would melt in the car. We were given an ice pack to keep the candy solid.
Great candy to shop to visit on your way through downtown Poulsbo-freshly made candies and assorted gifts to purhase at reasonable prices. I think they have chocolate dipped ice creams bars as well.
Julius R. Boehm, of Swiss-Austrian descent, immigrated to America in 1940 and started his first Candy Kitchen in North Seattle two years later. He moved its location to Issaquah in 1956 where they have continued to make their home over the years.Boehm's Chocolates first opened in Poulsbo during the 1984 Viking Fest celebration and they've been supplying the area with delectable chocolate ever since. As I write this, I've been making my way through the box of mocha truffles I bought, trying to savor every bite, but failing deliciously.
