Dolphins pods are here! As all the beaches in Pipa you have to walk (beaches are far from the road because they are surrounded by "falésias"). There are very small bars that serve excellent food (and don't charge you for seating in they chairs - yes, they charge 30us, besides what you eat or drink!). Search for "mirante dos golfinhos". A small bar owned by Salvio, an Italian guy that left the rush-rush in Milan and decided to enjoy life in Brazil!
Accessible down steep steps or a long walk at low tide from Pipa. backed by palm trees, a great place to learn to surf. A few umbrellas and beach bars.
This Beach is a lovely quiet one...if you like being away from the crowds you can set hut here and walk over to other ones with no danger of anyone touching your belongings since it's a semi private beach. Lots of waves due to it's location, warm water...white sand. A FANTASTIC restaurant which offers beach chair rentals is located here, which is part of the AMAZING Ponta Do Madeiro Hotel where we stayed at. Great surf, right next to the Bluffs where people rock kitesurfing and hangliding!
we liked the waves, the surf instructors and the caipirinhas ! We also saw some dolphins. Waoooooooooooh
As most of the beaches in Pipa, this one requires a great deal of stair up and downs (in fact, down and up). Beach is very dangerous for people who are not used to it, but there are life-savers all around. Beautiful, but take care.
Go to evolução surfing school for standar material but for a really cheap price ! It's 30 r$ per day and you can change your planche at anytime you want
This was my families favorite beach in Pipa. There are several surf Schools that also rent Equipment (surf, standup, kayak). It is also a good place to see dolphins.
I was just kidding before when I said terrible beach. Just want to keep peeps away !With exuberant nature edged with an immense stretch of coconut palms the beach situated below the Village Natureza hotel (which stands on the cliffs above) is in a calm bay with gentle waves making it ideal for swimming. If you are lucky you might also see the magnificent natural show the dolphins often give in the mornings. For those who like walking we suggest a stroll along the sand to the next beach (do madeiro [or timber>) which is just as beautiful. If you are here between November and May you might even come across a turtle nest!
Madeiro Beach has got everything you need.. "Holland Tent" is a great `barraca` to spend the day. The water in madeiro beach is clean, you can take surf and kayak classes and in the morning you can see the dolphins from the coast. Bare in mind that if you go by bus, to access the beach, there is a staircase... take your time to go up and down.
I am gonna give this beach a terrible rating because I don't want loads of touristos going there as its bloomin' marvellous. My English mate (well-travelled ) reckons it's the best beach he has ever been on @!!
