Went there to get information for a trip along the great River Road. I talked with the woman and she didn't tell me much, She gave me three brochures and went back to working on what she was doing. So I sent my husband in to see if he could get more info and he she was very helpful to him and gave him a bunch of travel trips and several more brochures.
Visited while making a tour of Rustic Roads. Way to go Wisconsin. The Visitor and Learning Center really help to understand the places along the way. Very informative.

Stop for a bit, stretch your legs and enjoy the Great River Road Visitor and Learning Center. Here you’ll find a small interpretative center detailing the history of the area, outdoor art, well-maintained butterfly/bird gardens, and excellent views of the river. There is also a picnic area and children’s playground. All are well-maintained. Recommended if traveling with children - the Center’s learning opportunities accommodate a variety of ages, as do the information plaques near the outdoor river view lookout areas.
