Nothing exceptional here but it's very beatifull, the lakes are clear and water have a nice colour. If you have the time, worths the visit, if not you can skip.
Go there, take a look, some pictures and leave. Better go in the morning, when is less crowded. There are more beautiful places to see in Pucón and nearby.
It's a really beautiful place with waterfalls and lagoons; however its better to go really early so that it's not so overcrowded; also there used to be a bridge that connected both sides of the place which isn't there now so you have to cross over some rocks to get to the other side and see the waterfalls but it's not hard to do and totally worth it! You can get there by city bus, about 30 mins away from Pucón depending on traffic (the way back is like 1 hour - 1 1/2 hours and you only have buses until 9 pm) but there are two really good beaches close by (Playa negra and Playa blanca) next to Lake Caburga; I prefer them to the main beach in Pucón because that one is always too overcrowded.
A small pond with small waterfalls where 2 rivers meet. Nice trees and nice scenery for a movie gets a litle ugly when too much people gets in. Illigal entrance fee is charged (Chilenian law forbids to charge any fee to access to any river, lake or beach.... in the paper, as half of the country is run under this illegal fees even by local goverment, a web page serves for claims but only for chilenians as a RUT id number is mandatory to fill the form).A perfect place to come with children to enjoy small nature with a small walk. Be close to them as water pond is dangerous and they can drown.A nice restaurant at the entrance near the local bus stop. All buses going to Caburga lake up high stops you here at Ojos del Caburga.
Great place to visit, speacilly if you are want to take a rest and relax. Really near the city, I recommend to rent a bike and ride to ojos del caburga from Pucon, the landscape is awesome and you discover different places.
These pools are amazingly beautiful, amazing blue colour. You can't swim though and there aren't many places to sit near the pools either so you don't need to stay for long.
Ojos del caburga is a beautiful spot... but nothing out of this world. The entry fee was modest, and there were too many people when we went..
We went there by bike. It's worth to go there mostly due to laguna azul which is close to Ojos del Caburga.
Note that there are two entrances. You see the waterfall from different views so visit both. You need to pay so keep your receipt. The walk is not difficult. It was 1000 pesos per person.
Need to be ready to hike. It may be a challenge for some folks, but some very nice sites of a waterfall , the river and the beautiful blue lagoon
