Golf course in great condition and at a reasonable price. A bit of a drive from Spokane but well worth the trip. The restaurant at the course is quite good also with very good views of the Palouse Hills.
We attended a very dear friends wedding and wedding reception at Palouse. The location, views and service were absolutely delightful. The staff were efficient and friendly.Thank you to the staff at Palouse for helping to make our experience at Pullman great!
I couldn't believe how open the golf times were. We have looked forward to golfing the Palouse and finally got the chance. Labor Day weekend to boot. We finished under 4 hours. Great course but would recommend a cart.
I had heard a great deal about how good a golf course Palouse Ridge was. Info links mentioned it twice recently, once for being one of the best college course -WSU-and also for what a good value it was. I was dropping my son off at Gonzaga U about 70 miles to the north, we decided to take a detour and go play on a Thurs afternoon. We were totally blown away. The pro we met was kind and offered us a twilight rate around the 3 PM time. It totaled out at about $60 with a cart. The practice facility was native grass and well maintained. The course was in great shape and the greens rolled perfectly. Every hole had a ton of interest and needed some thinking. The par threes were all very cool and the par fives required some accurate shot making tee to green. We had 15 miles per hour wind from the west which made some holes harder but others glory holes. The other great thing was that we had the course mostly to ourselves. We were done in 3 hrs 20 min. The greens varied a little in speed depending on their position in the wind. I shot a 90 and my son an 88. All in all, we had a fantastic time. I hope to come back again and again.
I called to make a tee time. The staff was friendly, said they could give me a time anytime after 1:36. I said that would be great. They took my name, then when I mentioned the Groupon they put me on hold. When they returned I was informed that, though they had plenty of open tee times, they did not accept them on home team weekends. When I told them that the Fine Print said there were no exceptions, I was informed I should call Groupon and try to get my money back. I didn't care which weekend we went but it was the only weekend that worked for everyone. ever was able to play but a impressed by a business that fails to keep there word.
The scenery was beautiful this time of year from lots of different places on the course. The course has no trees to speak of, but the greens can be tricky since their speeds vary and they don't hold a shot from the fairway.
New to town on this date. Added a nice addition to the community with high quality food and service. Still has a great reputation after one year .
Didn't get a chance to play a round, but hope to soon. The restaurant was delicious, the service was great, and the views were breathtaking. I'd love to have a return visit.
Don't play Palouse Ridge unless you're up for a real golf challenge. It's a wonderful test with long holes, devilish approach shots, and demanding greens. Not to mention a handful of blind tee shots. High handicappers will lose a few balls and may not enjoy every hole. But if you want something more interesting than the local muni, this is an excellent course with tons a variety that will call for every club in your bag.
One of the prettiest courses I 've ever played, but not one of the easiest, for sure.Lots of hills and definite challenges. We plan to come back next year and spend a couple of days just to play golf again. Beautiful restaurant patio at the clubhouse with a stunning view overlooking the course and the rolling wheat fields.
