Great time for the little ones. Had fun on the train ride and walking the grounds. We fed the deer, goats, birds. My son enjoyed the rides and the gentleman running the rides made it extra special. He also gave us tips on feeding the deer which was appreciated by us and the deer!
What a sweet little place to take young children. Our grandsons ages 4 and 1 had a great time. The train ride, the carousel, etc. just like I remembered. Nice walking paths and animals to feed. They even had free use of strollers in case you forget :)
We came there 8-27-2013 It was about the most creepy experience we have had . 21.00 to get in , all of the attractions were falling or about to fall down . you make it through the entrance and you are greeted by a falling apart bridge , then up the slippery path to the empty birdcage ,then to the schoolhouse with a TV stuck on Santa clause is coming but you cant turn it on , then to the slide that is taped off with caution tape then to the next empty cage , closed snack shack, empty Santa's hut then to the big slide that was wet and no one to dry it then to the creepy empty train station see photo and you will know what I mean I'm sorry , the previous posts are wrong !! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY until upgrades have been made , And a nice thank you to the train operator that had seen us at the station and never moved the train
We spent an enjoyable afternoon here My husband had been here as a child and wanted to share the memory with our daughter. The new owner has undertaken a huge project in renewing this treasure. The hard work is evident and ongoing. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed the train ride , the alpine slide, the kiddie park, the carousel , and all the animals .While I enjoyed the beautiful parklike setting and watching her have fun. Didnt get to try out the food. But what I saw on the menu looked good.. We will be back for the holidays and to see all the changes next year
this is a great little park. after being closed for a season I had my doubts about this park and have to say i was presently Surprised. this park is getting better every time I go. this was my second trip this year, and they had fixed the problem with our first trip in the month since. a great piece of Vermont history.
The "excellent" reviews on here are fake. Anyone who actually has gone will give it 1 star... Only because you can't give zero stars
Unfortunately, Santa's Land has fallen into hard times.Thirty years ago, it was a thriving attraction with animals, a little train, Santa and his elves. The adjoining Igloo restaurant was a great pancake house. It recently changed hands, and went even further downhill. Do not bother to go.
I am extremely disappointed with santas land. Price to get in is $10 which doesn't seem like much, but you get nothing for your money! The place is falling apart, one person runs the 4 rides they have there, the santa was very "fake" looking and odd, and alot of the park was not running! We took our 7 year old daughter and even she was upset with the park. Completely took our Christmas spirit away! :( we will not be returning to this park anytime soon. They have alot of work to do!
We had the sweetest day with our 2 year old grandchild today at Santas land? Snow on the ground after rainy closing season have given the little place a winter wonderland feel. The train ride, Merry go round and small amusement park rides, helped round out a giant slide , shy visit with no pressure Santa ( thank you Santa! you were so understanding) and hot cocoa. dee, and a few animals were out...look forward to another visit this summer
I went to Santa's land with my granddaughter who is two and a half and my husband. It was perfect for her! If you want a relaxed and pleasant fun day for your small children without the pressures like in the other parks, go here! The admission is only 10.00 for adults and free for children under three. With that you get UNLIMITED RIDES on everything there! The people running the park are very helpful and pleasant. The gift shop is the first one that I have been in that the stuff is not overpriced! We bought a bottle of soda, 2 lollipops, a giant coloring book, and a bead stringing kit all for $10! The Santa was VERY good. Not pushy! For lunch we bought 2 orders of french fries and 2 drinks, it totaled $5.57. Altogether, It cost us only $36.57, we were there for 4 hours! Because the park is old, and the owner is new, some of the stuff needs to be updated, but the kids don't notice and it doesn't effect their fun. We are looking foreword to coming back again with my grandson.
