We stopped here on a trip out west and went for the walk. It was a nice walk and a beautiful view. Would stop here again.
Actually, it was in about 2009 that I was there, There is a little hike to get there. I had recently had 1 lung removed, due to some form of cancer (not cigarettes), so the hike was a little tough for me, but I made it, so it isn't that steep. I met a much older man coming down who also had just lost his lung. He made it also. Its a good fun hike for families of all ages.
While I live 10 mins away and have visited Bridal Falls often over the years, it never disappoints! A beautiful walk through nice trails to an amazing waterfall! On a hot day this walk keeps you cool in the shade for the most part! Beautiful old trees and trunks for many photo ops? May not be suitable for the elderly as there is a bit of a climb on the last part to the falls! If you are visiting here or just passing through its a refreshing and revitalizing walk.
Beautiful attraction, must see, especially in the Spring where the falls seem to be at its fullest. Even if you go in the Summer, the short hike is great, but most important the scenery is incredibly beautiful. This is rainforest country, so you will see lots of moss and lichen on the trees and on the forest floor. Great spot for photography enthusiasts of all levels. Plenty of parking, and easy to get to, yo won't be disappointed!
It's only a short climb from the campground to the falls and they are worth seeing . It's also very Accessable from the Trans Canada Highway so don't miss it !
A thin skim of water sheets down a terrifically high cliff, looking like a filmy veil. A tiny spray of water has encouraged moss on all the trees, so it looks like a forest that would surround Hogwarts - gorgeous.
The kids will be impressed, as will the adults, an incredible opportunity to hike through an ancient rainforest and be treated to an impression view of the falls when you get to the end of the trail.
A bit of a hike but well worth it!! Adjacent to a camping ground with restaurant, store, camping facilities, pool, hot tub, and waterslide.Very enjoyable as an afternoon experience or overnite/weekend trip.
A nice little hike in the woods to beautiful falls. Not too steep, and well shaded trail--takes about 10min to get to the falls.
Love this place. We are locals and it's always a favourite, even for our 5-year old. The beautiful walk leads to an impressive, thundering water fall. Perfect for a hot summer day since it's so shaded, and the waterfall puts a cool mist over everything. Take a picnic supper and eat at the picnic tables alongside the stream. Fun for kids to drop sticks from the little bridges and then race them on the path alongside.
