The Royals Games are great for pretty much everyone on any budget. It's great for families and the concessions are quite varied - much more than just hot dogs. The hot dogs are great though! At the most recent game the Zooperstars performed while the ice was being resurfaced - they were hilarious. Hope to see them again!
Reading Royals Hockey Games and concerts here are great. Not a bad seat in the house. New owners now in place are promising exciting changes. If you ever get in the area and love minor league hockey, defitenly check it out.
I have never dealt with such helpful and professional people. They provided me with truly amazing service! I had an issue with tickets for an event, which was not the fault of the arena, and they helped me to sort things out quickly and easily, to my full satisfaction. Pennsylvania is lucky to have a venue like this, with staff members who really know how to treat their customers right! I especially want to thank Tammy Bateman, Box Office & Group Sales Manager. She is terrific! Thank you, Santander Arena. You guys are awesome!
The arena itself is a nice venue. Most seats are good. One issue is that most foot traffic onto the arena floor comes through one gate in the middle of the arena side. Seats aside that walkway/ steps (between sections 107 and 106) have their view constantly obstructed by people going in or out. Last night at the TSO The Christmas Attic concert the stream of people coming in to find their seats went well into the first half of the concert. Frustrating. They have the usual arena fare, fries and chicken fingers, pretzels, beer all at the usual over priced amounts. Traffic in and out of the several parking garages ($10) is always a mess. Fire police and police in the streets may just make things worse. It took us 45 mins to get from the bridge to the Court St. Garage. There is major construction going on across from the arena on Penn Ave. a new Double Tree I believe but it adds to the chaos. The concert itself, however was phenomenal!
Cheap tickets to watch the Reading Royals. Parking garage is nearby and only $5 for events. Nice selection inside for beer and food.
When I was at the Santander Arena it was still known as the Sovereign Center, so I'm not sure how much has changed. I saw monster truck's freestyling and have been there for a concert. As expected, all food and beverages were over-priced, in the course of the evenings (each time I attended) the employees did not keep up with the mess created by patrons. I am disappointed that this is my local venue and wish it was not located in a dangerous city near where the biggest crimes occur.
Nice stadium! I have been here for concerts, indoor foot ball, hockey and family events, all of which were great! It's better to park in the designated parking areas even though it costs a little more.
You are close to all the action of minor league hockey. The Reading Royals hockey team is great to watch and you can keep up with the game as the speed is not quite as fast as the NHL.Great place to see shows as the seats are close to the stage no matter where you sit.
A great place to see a show. Not a bad seat in the house. Drinks were great. Easy to find and get too there is a parking garage just around the corner.
From the first note of a Van Halen concert to the first slapshot by a Reading Royal this venue will not have a bad seat. The various events from sports to music are showcased here and with parking relatively close by and cheap compared to any professional event or big name band at other bigger city venues. The concourse has many different food concession stands to choose from as well as beer and ice cream stands.Food prices are not cheap though. One major drawback is that the seats are not for a tall person, you will get slightly cramped if you are long-legged or have any knee issues. Most of the usher staff are very friendly and will help as needed with a smile.
