This is a fun brewery. We went on a sat. afternoon into the evening. Everyone was nice and friendly and they had bands playing. Nice chill place. My favorite beer is the Helles Lager.
The birthplace of the human-powered aircraft called the Daedalus, making the brewery a historical landmark takes on its new identity as a popular SoCal craft brewery located in Redlands, California. What the brewery lacks in space, they make-up with great selections of seasonal and classic brews under the Hangar 24 label, as well and live music on Wednesday & Saturday evenings! Although local and loyal customers come in to fill their growlers, I prefer to do the beer tasting because it allows me to sample what's on tap and its just fun! On special events there will be food trucks or local restaurants providing a limited selection of tapas. Parking and patio seating is limited so plan to get their early if you decide to go in the evenings. The prices are little more expensive than the newer micro breweries that are popping up but its worth it if you're there for the experience and of course, you're favorite Hangar 24 beer! Ladies, if you ever want to impress your guy on a special occasion, you won't get any complaints from him with this one! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the atmosphere very mellow, it may leave you planning your next visit.
This place is awesome! Drove about an hour out of our way on my birthday to enjoy their beer. They don't serve food but they had a food truck outside that was absolutely amazing!! It's got an industrial kind of feel to it and across the street is an air strip. The view from the patio is awesome. Could spend a lot of time here. Really wish we had more time. We would have stayed to listen to the music they had. Only thing I would change is the bathroom situation which was slim since there were only two and there were a lot of people competing for them. Also, they should make Betty IPA stickers. I would totally get one of those for my Jeep (her name is Betty)... I didn't take a star off for that though. :) Just long bathroom lines :) Otherwise this place is super stellar! Their beer is really really good. Go for the Betty IPA if you are an IPA fan.
Good beer. No food. Limited picnic table style seating. Needs to consider offering some food or I won't return.
Love the orange wheat and pale ale so we had to check it out. I love how it's nice but not overdone. Great mountain view from the patio and off the beaten path a bit...will definitely go back when there's live music on!
Hanger 24 is a little out of the way but worth the trip. Great beer selections. They don't serve food so check their website for possible food trucks on site.
Great beer for a little local brewery, enjoyed the many different beers on tap. When I had my wedding up in Big Bear, we ordered three kegs of different beers and took it up the mountain with us. The beer was a big hit with our friends that wasn't from the local area. Highly recommend people to stop by the brewery and kick back and relax with friends and enjoy the beers.
Great beer, fun place to hang out for an afternoon....people of all ages, and has a great community vibe!
Hangar 24 is an outstanding place for a beer. They use local produce for some of their brews and have created some wonderful beers. The Honey Wheat is great as an all around beer for most foods and even for some desserts. Get a pint or try a flight to see what you might like. If you like it enough, the growler is a good value to take some home. You may also find it at your local Stater Brothers or at some restaurants also have it on tap. The atmosphere is, well an aircraft hangar, and a working brewery. They have live music and often have food trucks that have some tasty options. I highly recommend Hangar 24, you won't be disappointed.
Although they have seating in the patio area, there is nothing like having a craft get and sitting on a keg while your growler is getting filled. Great special events throughout the year make it a great place for friends, families, and couples.
