Even if you are not a hunter or the outdoorsy type, you are bound to find something here to interest you. The clothing and shoe selection are great. There's food and fudge and samples too. The cafeteria has rare selections of buffalo and wild boar - delicious! But the atmosphere is a delight. There so many different animals on display that it is an education in itself and there is a large aquarium with many different native species, all rescued. Who knows, you might decide to go camping!
I was looking for warmer clothing, however I was limiting items to socks & gloves. I found gloves and a warm hat. however, I started looking at. Birding binocular, I liked the Olympic Leupold 10 x 50, they get the job done
So much to look at. Love taking the grand kids, and spending the afternoon. Great store, reasonably priced. Has a nice little restaurant in the back. Great place to visit, shop and relax
Like others, I am in awe of all the animals on display in that main area. Some of them are huge. We saw ones we hadn't see before. This store is huge and has everything you could ever want. Or course being a specialty store you will pay more for it. I love shopping the clearance racks (and room) to find that great deal for the next gifting occasion or just for growing kids. This one has two levels. There is even a shooting gallery upstairs which reminds me of the ones that used to be in the Wisconsin Dells. We had a ball in there. The café has all types of food to try. You could lose lots of time (and money) in this store!
Gotta love this place! Tons of guns to choose from as well as hunting and camping supplies. It's fun to take the kids just to look at the stuffed animals and live fish. Huge store and friendly and helpful staff.
My husband and I like to visit Richfield occasionally specifically to go to Cabela's. We are outdoor enthusiasts, so we frequently find items we want/need. I always check-out the bargain cave, and have scored some great deals. We recently visited the new Cabela's in Columbus, OH, and got blue jeans for hubby for 14.99 pr - couldn't go wrong! We also love the fudge, and never go to Cabela's without getting some. If you're a cheesecake lover, they have blueberry cheesecake fudge at the store in Richfield, and raspberry cheesecake fudge at the one in Columbus, OH. Sometimes you have to request ahead of time, so hubby calls the day before we go to make sure they will have it. Not all stores carry the same kinds of fudge, so you have to ask what they have. The restaurant is a "must try" at least once. At Richfield they have deep-fried cheese curds - a Wisconsin delicacy! Mmmm!
I love to look around and see what is available. They always have a good selection and I love to see the animals and go through the camping aisles. Seems like there is stuff for all ages to look at and explore.
Para quem vive no Brasil poder conhecer uma das lojas Cabela's é como uma criança conhecer a Disney. Tudo que você imaginar irá encontrar no local, embora os preços não sejam tão acessíveis, vale a pena ao menos trazer uma lembrança.
Yep.. it's big, really big. Tons of outdoor gear of every type, hunt, fish, camp, other.... Not really an "activity" but I should drop that argument by now.
Cabela's is a combination sporting goods store and taxidermy wonderland. They have several display areas and many of the animals are placed in outdoor settings in action poses. My friends grandkids like to go to the "dead animal museum". They also have a vintage gun room often with some very rare and unique pieces that you might find in a museum, but which are for sale here. If you have been to any large Cabela's, you will not be surprised by this one.
