One Sunday afternoon after enjoying brunch at Ruckersville, Virginia's, Blue Ridge Cafe (one of our very favorite restaurants!), we decided to spend some time wandering through nearby Ruckersville Gallery. What a beautiful place! The owners have created a lovely setting for any antique or collectible you can imagine. I was tempted by a tiny paper cup featuring the kitty from the B&O Railroad - what a find! They have everything from a huge selection of Fiesta Ware of all vintages to unusual one-of-a-kind items. It would be hard to leave without taking at least one tempting goodie with you.Lots of fun memories came up as I came across treasured items that could have come from my own childhood. Found myself wondering - where have the years gone? And the place sparkles! Everything is neat, clean and beautifully displayed. Most items are touchable, but ome things are behind glass, with a key always available at the front desk so you can see the item up close. The owners have done a lovely job of creating a friendly and beautiful ambiance. They buy items as well, so check that out.Any time you have a couple of hours to enjoy wandering about yours or someone else's past, stop in to the lovely, bright Ruckersville Gallery. You'll be glad you did!
A very large antique mall, nicely designed and organized. Staff are super friendly. Plenty of parking! This shop had a bit of everything...from high end pieces and modest collectibles. If in the area stop by and take a peek; there are treasures to be had.
