Awesome time at Jungle Jim's this summer! It was very clean and due to the kids being back in school, it didn't seem as crowded which was a DOUBLE thumbs up! :) We went on every slide that adults could go on at least 3 times or more! We will be back! :)
This is the second year that we have bought season passes to jungle jims. My husband and I love the lazy river. The kids love everything, mostly the water slides. Food is good, too
After a long day at the beach and going back to relax, we found ourselves with renewed energy and on the run again. Not wanting to go back to the beach, we found ourselves at Jungle Jim's. Me and my sister in law plopped ourselves down at one of the beach chairs around the lazy river and the kids took off. Our guys 10 and 11 year olds were able to safely maneuver around nearby water slides that were great for all ages while we relaxed for a little while. It was safe and clean and fun!
This was the perfect water park for our four grandchildren, ages 7-12. It is a reasonable size and well-contained so that the children could go from ride to ride without the parents being concerned about the children mistakenly leaving the park. The grounds and the facilities are extremely clean, the lockers and restrooms well-maintained and the staffing level is excellent. This was our second visit to the water park and I would definitely recommend it. The children had a great time. The food prices are fairly reasonable, considering that there are no other options.
Jungle Jim's makes for a fun, active day. Our kids are always happy there and don't even bicker all day :) There are water attractions for all ages and the food is quite good for an amusement park.
First of all I was amazed to see how clean this place was. Tickes and food prices were what I expected them to be. The water slides were fun and my 9 year old daughter loved them. Her favorite slide was the Anaconda. My favorite was the lazy river. I felt that it relaxing. My fiancee laid in the sun most of the time we were there and there are plenty of chairs that they have for the sunbathers.
While I haven't been to every "water park" in the DelMarVa area, this has got to be one of the best. There's so much more in there than we expected. We are childless auties who took our niece and nephew for a day of fun at Jungle Jims. The kids have been to a lot of water slides and water parks in the area, but thought this one was great. It was really really crowded which made this inexperienced aunt kind of freaked out when it came to keeping an eye on OUR kiddos, but everything was fine. There's a wave pool that I thought was kind of small (my ONLY underwhelmed moment of the day). The water roller coaster that takes you UPhill too was really cool!!!! It's done with strong jets that kind of blow you uphill. I'm going to get real with you in order to encourage those who might think this isn't for them to give it a try. I'm a big girl. I was nervous trying that thing, imagining I might get stuck or something. No one stopped me from getting on, so I just went. It was all good and so much fun!!! You've got to give it a try! There are late day specials and a bunch of coupons floating around town. Don't pay full price. Just search out a deal and you'll find it.
Spent the whole day at this waterpark - there was so much to do for all ages. This waterpark was so clean and the ladies in the restroom/locker room did a wonderful job keeping the floors dry. The staff is very friendly and had a wonderful day.
We've visited Jungle Jim's for the last five years and have always had a great experience. There is enough of a variety to suit the needs of all thrill levels and rides are spaced out enough to prevent large crowds in one particular area. We usually visit on a Friday and take advantage of the discounted, three-hour Twilight package. The park is not very crowded and this seems to be the perfect amount of time to be able to ride everything we'd like to. Also, the bathroom and showers are convenient and clean.
The website and signs at the park say that with the kids bracelet you can ride all the rides with an adult.....not the case. Not only are the kids 42" and under not allowed, they are not allowed with an adult despite the signs and advertising. Bumper boats have a sign saying 40" can ride with an adult but they don't follow that either and you have to be 5 years old to ride. One of the water rides has a sign that says you have to be able to climb the ropes without help....but it's a kids ride. Ridiculous. This place is not family friendly and all of the signs and advertisements are inaccurate. If your kids are under 6 or under 42" don't waste your money.
