This is an interesting place, especially when the lavender fields are in full bloom. It is amazing what can be done with lavender, including lavender chocolate!
Just perfect. Courteous employees, boutique with a variety of quality products related to lavender. Beautiful historic buildings with wonderful stories are being attached. An eco-friendly approach and great phylosophy of the owners. And a delight to the sight and smell.Simplement parfait.
We stopped here and all I can say is wow! I love lavender and visit lavender farms whenever we travel. This farm is extraordinary and has a large selection of lavender items to purchase. We will definitely stop again in November so I can stock up on some items I need.
After seeing a roadside sign for this place we decided to check it out. The smell on the grounds is beautiful. Greeted by the friendly staff we walked in to the country chic boutique. Products are all high quality. I purchased the lip balm as well as the antiseptic hand gel and am sad my bottles are ending. Will have to go back! Do not miss the kitchen and food section. Jams are to die for with the faintest hint of lavender as the after taste. I would have bought it all! The day we visited there was a wedding taking place in the lavender fields. It was so beautiful I will definetly consider it if I get married. Stunning view!
we visited La maison Lavande this week end as part of our half a day activity. We were very pleased by the friendly staff that great you upon your arrival. The fields are very beautiful. The boutiques smelled very good and we love the lavender jam tasting! If you ever been to the Bleu Lavande in the Eastern Township you will realise that it is very very similar but nonetheless a fun place to go with the family.
I have been to France thrice but mostly in Paris and have no idea on how to get to Provence where most of the Lavender fields are located. One of things however in my "MUST DO" and "MUST SEE" list is to visit a Lavender farm anywhere. My chance came when hubby had a business trip to Montreal. I searched for nearby lavender farms and I selected La Maison Lavande in Saint Eustache rather than go to a much larger lavender farm in Canada near the US-Canada border because the review of this farm was much better than the other farm. When we entered Quebec we asked directions from the tourism office on how to get to La Maison Lavande. The young tourism volunteer in the Tourism Office has never been to this farm yet but she googled the place for us(which we could also do ourselves) and gave us two options on getting there. One is to take a 10 minute ferry to Oka Quebec which is well known for its cheese and the other is by land via Montreal. We decided to go via the ferry when we were assured by the Tourism volunteer that it is faster to go via ferry. She said that if we went by ferry it will only take 30 minutes to get there compared to the one hour and ten minutes if we go by land.We paid $10 for the 10 minute ferry ride by barge to Oka, Quebec. When we reached land we stopped at the Tourism Office again to ask for direction to the Lavender farm. Again the Tourism Guide in the office has not been to the farm and gave us a rough estimate of our travel time which is 20 minutes (that is if we did not get lost). We got lost however and it took us almost an hour to locate the farm using the map that we got from the guide.
