We reserved online for a kayak and a canoe. They provided everything that we needed and dropped us off at the River. The man completely took care of putting the boats in and taking them out. They allowed us to take time to swim and enjoy the river. Bring a cooler for drinks and sandwiches and have a lunch along the way.
Staff was super nice and helpful. Better options than another outfitted nearby. we were able to leave when we wanted not at set times. Boats were nice and the ride was beautiful. Go here!
We did a 5 hr canoe ride and had a wonderful time! The staff was very friendly, prompt to serve us and patient. We had good canoes and a kayak. What a beautiful river...props to the One above on that one! Great time!
Finally enjoyed this day trip and sure it will be part of our routine now. Well worth the short drive and reasonable cost to experience this river. Great staff and owners who seem genuinely willing to do anything to make your float better and safer. Thanks guys and gals at BRO!
Prompt and did what the offered- friendly service - quality equipment, fair pricing, would use again and hope to in the future
Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking at floating the buffalo. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Wonderful experience overall and we hope to return when river is at a higher stage.
It was a great day with all our grands and children floating down the river and enjoying the beauty together. It was spider hatching season so we our picnic in our canoes and waded in the water away from the shore.
Had a blast on the river in the canoe. People at the Buffalo Outfitters were great and recommended Sunset Inn in Marshall. Great trip only the constant rain.
If the Buffalo isn't the most beautiful river in the country, it's awfully close. There are places where you'll find yourself looking around and realizing what you're looking at hasn't changed in thousands of years. Really awe inspiring. Spring time is the best time to see more of the river as the upper Buff isn't floatable after about June, but the water's colder. If you come in July or early August, you might have to pull your canoe over a couple little spots, but the water's warm, and moves so lazily, you can waste 5 or 6 hours enjoying a ten mile trip. The folks at BRO are true pros. We've floated with them for years and never had a single issue. Take you safely to where you need to be, pick you up at regular intervals, and provide you with safe, sturdy canoes or kayaks. We'll be floating this beautiful river for many years to come, and using BRO to do it.
Good equipment . . . .poor trip advisors. What was supposed to be a two day trip with overnight on the river ended up a six hour lazy trip from start to finish. After driving over 500 miles to do this it was very disappointing. Three separate attempts to extend the itinary prior to departure the "experts" behind the counter assured us this was the right itinary. To add salt the wound they ended up charging me for the next day even though we returned their equipment that afternoon after our six hour lazy trip.....just WATCH OUT!!!!!
