We bought the package that also included the tour of the Big Sky Mesa which is a total must see! The hotel was clean, beautiful and very friendly. Restaurant served delicious food and they had live entertaining music in the evening. Wonderful! Would stay again.
We stayed in RV park. The park was fine especially for the value $18.00 per night for full hookup. The WiFi was free but a little weak. The people at the hotel, Anthony and Kimberly were just awesome and very helpful. We did feel secure and it was pretty quite.
We were only planning on a day trip, but we had such a great time that we stayed over and I am so glad we did. The hotel is wonderful, clean and quiet. The casino was nice and we won our share. the buffet was very good. All in all I would recommend this casino to anyone looking for a relaxing place to play, don't overlook it.
Sky City Casino is just an average highway-side casino. We ate at the restaurant on a whim, driving out from Albuquerque. Friendly service but the place itself is nothing spectacular. For an awe-inspiring time, go down the road half an hour to Haaku Museum/Cultural Center and Sky City Village.
Travelling we drove into snow storm Sparta in Gallup, New Mexico. As it snowed more we decided to stay at Sky View Casino and Hotel. Called ahead from billboard information and reserved room....Very nice, safe and clean hotel. Room was nice but will any hotel ever use anything more than the short , stubby pillows????. Employees all really great. Staff is Native American and they went out of the way to accommodate our needs. Food at snack bar we found was very good. Buffet was reasonably priced and adequate. Casino was secure, clean and fun losing our money. Surprised us that the vast majority of customers were Native Americans of the tribes in the area. Mainly Navajo I believe. It was well worth staying the extra day and the wise thing to do. Winter storm Sparta moved on and we had beautiful weather the remainder of drive
This casino at exit 102 on Interstate-40 is not one of the bigger casinos in New Mexico, but it has everything you need. We ate lunch at the buffet, and the food was excellent. There was a huge selection of food, but what there was tasted wonderful, and it's priced very reasonably. If you prefer, you can order full meals delivered to your table in the same room. We later had a light dinner in the snack bar, and it was also very good. The casino has a tremendous variety of slot machines, and we actually won a couple hundred dollars on them. The casino runs special events and special prices for seniors on Fridays, making it even more fun. It's a long drive for us, but we will definitely go back.
We stayed at the Sky City Casino while exploring the area (Acoma Pueblo and El Malpais). The rooms were comfortable and clean----The restaurant offered a menu and a buffet.
Wonderful experience. Robert the tour guide was very knowldegable and made the tour a pleasant experience.
We had a very comfortable room, super breakfast, efficient staff at the reception desk-all at a very reasonable price. There is almost always a "travel center" = gas station at the Native American casino facilities we saw and we found them so convenient.
No beer. The buffet was tasty. the casino wasn't as smoky as others here in New Mexico. The staff at the casino were very friendly.
