I pretty much knew what I wanted to do on the island and where I wanted to go so was pleased when the lady that helped us thought my ideas were pretty terrific! This place is busy so be patient. We were there in season and the traffic is/was terrible. Best advice we got was to be back at the four way stop leaving the island by 3:30 We were and you should be too!
Great visitor center. They know it all; where to go, what to see, where to eat...these people are outstanding. They care about the visitors to San-Cap to make each visitors experience excellent.Too bad other visitor centers can't model themselves after them..many kudos to all people of the San-Cap visitro center.
What great customer service! Stopped here to get an idea of things to do for the day and was very pleased with the lady helping me. Good information, she asked if it was my first time there and then proceeded to tell me all the places and things to fill my day. Had a wonderful time on the island and enjoyed the wonderful people I met and places I visited.
Friendly folks willing to help with all of your vacation needs. They take all the time you need to find you great accomodations.
Right off the Causeway on the Island. Very easy to find. Staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable about the island as you would expect.
Be sure to stop at the Visitor's Center, if you're visiting Sanibel Island. The folks are very helpful. We arrived around 2:00 and the staff explained that the traffic really builds up around 3:00 and it can take an hour to get off the island. I really appreciated this, since a delay would have inconvenienced us. We did complete a short drive around the island and would like to return.
The people working here are not only very knowledgeable about Sanibel but more willing to answer your questions with patience. There are many brochures there for anything you might want to look at.
This is a great spot to start your trip. the staff are very helpful, patient. Almost everyone asks " So where is the best shelling?". get your island map and particulars here.
