It's on the drive to Baby Beach. Yeah, it's there, but unless you or your family are seafarers, it's not worth the drive for it alone.
We stumbled upon the anchor when leaving Baby Beach to return to Oranjestad. There isn't much to see at this spot other than the anchor but its bright color definitely makes it stand out and create beautiful pictures of your Aruba visit! Definitely worth the stop!
We stopped to take some photos on our way back to the high rise hotels from Baby Beach. The anchor is huge and there were nice views of the east cost with a number of kite surfers in the water. This is not a place to specifically go to but if you are in the area it is a nice photo op. It is amazing on how dry and dessert like it is around there. I would make a stop only if you are in the area like going to Baby Beach but not make a special trip to see it.
This is a tribute leading up to baby beach for sailors. It's a nice thing to see and take a photo of, but not really a major attraction. Stop for a moment though and take a look, then look at the beautiful scenery around you and the ocean behind it. Then look to your left in the distance at the kite surfers.
I wouldn't go just for the anchor but stopped in my way to Baby Beach for a quick pic. Nice tribute and a good picture spot!!
If you are on Aruba this is where you need to take a picture. The background is amazing when you stand on the anchor
This attraction has a very nice view on the sea and it is great for taking pictures. It is on the road to baby beach, which I recommend to every one.
On the way to Baby Beach. Good place to stop and take in the sights - the rocky East shoreline, some amazing cacti, and maybe you'll see some donkeys and/or goats wandering about.
Very nice memory to the Seamen. Close to Hotel California-- (the Aruba prison). Up the road you can feed the donkeys. Enjoy the site.
Nicely restored large anchor close to Boca Grande. Makes a great picture and a very nice memorial. Takes just a minute and well worth it.
