Thanks for the positive review. We try to ensure that each visit is according to your interests and schedule and that you leave having learnt something and having had a good time!
My husband and I had the chance to visit Estampa Winery while in Santa Cruz. We had a wonderful time with Felipe Berg who was our host for the wine tasting, he was very friendly and accommodating to us. We had nice conversation and really enjoyed the wines. Beautiful setting and very nice winery. The only drawback would be a more "open" feel, I don't think it's just Estampa, most wineries in this area require reservation, so when we pulled up, were were the only ones and had to be called in by security. That was a little weird to start the tasting, but well worth it once we were in.Thank you Felipe for a great time!
Thank you so much for your kind words following your recent visit to Estampa. I am delighted that you enjoyed the time you spent with us and our personalised tour service which makes time for great conversation whilst enjoying our delicious wines! All the best from the Estampa Team!
We went to the Sunset Happy Hour (on Friday and Saturday nights). We ordered the large appetizer. It was a generous portion. What was not a generous portion were the wine pours. They charge about one-third to one-fourth the price of a bottle for a cup of wine, but it was just barely a "taste" of wine. I suspect that they could get at least 8 or 10 pours from a bottle. In the end, the wine was fine, but we've had better in the Colchagua Valley.
Hi there! Thank you so much for reviewing our winery online. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the tour and particularly the history of the 2010 earthquake which we will commemorate in the winery this year with some additional information/plaques. I hope you'll tell friends visitng Chile to come and visit Estampa in Colchagua! All the best,

Estampa was one of our favorite wineries in the Colchagua Valley. You can go to the wine bar for a tasting only. We did not have a reservation, but told the guard at the gate we were there to buy wine and he let us in. We were the only visitors in the wine bar where Felipe guided us through the wines. It is the only winery we found where you could choose which wines you wanted to taste and paid for each taste. We tasted their chardonnay, their gold range Carmenere (which is blended with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot) and their Syrah which is blended with Cabernet, Merlot and Malbec. We liked all of the wines, which retail for about $20). The tasting was about $20 for the three tastings we shared. Felipe speaks great English and knows a lot about wine and is a great conversationalist. We really enjoyed the experience. We were there for more than 1 hour. We wound up buying the Carmenere and also a bottle of their top wine LaCruz which is a blend of Carmenere, Cabernet and Syrah, although we were not able to taste it (around $60 U.S.). I would strongly recommend this tasting room to anyone who enjoys good quality wines.
We stopped there on the way from SantaCruz Vineyard. And let me say that SantaCruz Vineyard has much more to offer, but Estampa has something else that attracts you. The wine we tasted it was really good and the sommelier was really nice and polite guy. We had a nice chat about wines and differences between wines from different continents and so on..it was really entertaining:) Altho i am more used to and attracted to 'old style' kind of vineyards, so Estampa's building form the first view looked to me a bit too modern, but when you get to see inside and just to contemplate the moment in there for a little while - it's not too bad:)
Anders, Thank you for the review and for coming to visit us in Colchagua! All the best!
