We only had breakfast off the menu. Most meals are pricey for what you get. Meals are very plain. Buffet is $14.99 and I can't eat that much. But my allergy to smoke we went out a lot during my husband continuing ed classes.
Always a good time here. 2 rooms to play slots in and table games. Love the self serve pop and coffee stations. The food on the buffet is great as well. Everyone is always friendly
I could not find Game King video poker machines that had full pay Jacks or Better or double double bonus poker. There was progressive draw poker but the pay scale was lousy. We will not return.
Hubby loves buffets and was looking forward to DreamCatchers. It was really scaled down from the last time we were there. The casino slots are tighter than tight. No fun.
I don't gamble, BUT, we did sit in the bar and enjoyed a couple of drinks while the other members of the tour group enjoyed their time losing money..or winning! The bar was lovely, very comfortable surroundings and felt at ease there. There was nothing to dislike except the smell of smoke and I do believe smoking was allowed in the casino.
The restaurant at the Kewadin Casino in Sault Ste. Marie, MI, is no better than the one in St. Ignace. The only saving grace is that if you have points on your Northern Rewards card you can eat for free. That being said, I had rather pay for some decent food rather than get free food that is not worth it. The salad bar had only iceberg lettuce. There is nothing that tastes as nasty as iceberg. So getting a decent salad was totally out of the question. They had something that was suppose to be Indian Fry bread. While it did have a decent flavor it was so oversized that there was enough for several people to share It was about two to three inches thick. I had a chicken breast that was moist and tasty even though it was coated in something orange looking. Their food presentation leaves something to be desired.. The food appears to be commercially prepared and brought in. If that is not the case then they need to fire the entire kitchen staff and hire new people. I have had better food at truck stops. We were told they got rid of their bakers and it shows in that the pies looked and tasted like they were commercially made, not home made. There was not a piece of cake to be had. We did not find any rolls, cornbread or biscuits. We were discussing their food with some other diners and they were also irritated that breakfast is not longer served during the day. Save your money and go to Denny's or Big Boys.
beautiful annual plantings around the grounds. Good draft beer for excellent prices. DIdn't stay at the RV park, but it only costs $10/night and you get lots of reasons to stay--pool privileges, shower facilities, rides to the casino. These folks know their business. Low pressure and decent service. Nice art gallery.
It was ok. We visited Friday night to see the live entertainment. The band was good, free snacks in the bar. We lost more money than usual on the slots. Too much smoke for us. Typical small casino. Don't expect MGM
kewadin casino sent us coupons for a free night stay, $15,00 cash (real money) and $5.00 coupon off meal.Real good perks for as little as we gamble penny slots. They make it difficult to redeem the coupons but still worth it. and we both won money at the casino. Only bad thing was fre rooms we in older section upstairs with no elevator.
Only spent an hour here but came out with more than I went in with. The lobby is very nice and cozy with a large fireplace. Great place to wait for friends if you finish early. The gaming was fun as well.
