Great view and contact with the nature! Don't forget to bring coins for the parking. You can take photos near to kangaroos and the parrots stay in your head.

The swamp wallabies are just gorgeous & oh so friendly! Well worth a visit as the drive through the forest is also magical! While it was a bit cool for a dip for me the water was just stunning. A really pretty part of the South Coast.
Beautiful beach with a chance to see the wildlife. Was first here in 2001 and had a wonderful experience seeing all the kangaroos. Brought my daughter this time, hoping she would have the same experience but no kangaroos to be found. We saw the birds and walked the beach. Finally spotted the kangaroos having a 'siesta' on private property, unfortunate for us. We were only there for an hour and a half, so missed seeing the kangaroos in action. But still would recommend this spot.
I live in Ulladulla so am pretty close to this beach. It's a great place to take tourists that visit us, regularly from NZ and South Africa to see kangaroos. The beaches and scenery are lovely too.
Fabulous beach, but unable to pay park fees due to machine not accepting $2.00 coins - spent the whole time wondering if we would have a fine from the Ranger! Can't escape feeding the birds as they come & take it out of your hand!
There are many to choose from, but Pebbly will always hold a special place in my heart. It wasn't just the amazing, winding, forest road that leads to the beach or the memory of the first kangaroo we got to see in Australia, but the way the forest meets the water in such a spectacular way that makes this place special. We were driving to Melbourne from Sydney and just decided to take a random detour. I wish we could have stayed for an entire week. The scenery is one of a kind. The water is gorgeous, the beach is lovely, and the wildlife is anything but average (especially to a couple of travelling Canadians). If you are ever travelling down this way, make sure you stop at Pebbly.
We took the second road in from Bateman's Bay, dirt road, was a bit of an adventure, fortunately we didn't meet any other cars. When we arrived at Pebbly Beach we were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the park and the amount of people there having picnics and making the most of the beautiful scenery. Ideal place to have a family picnic, clean amenities. We took the tarred road when we left. A lot more pleasant drive!Definitely worth going off the highway to visit this hidden gem.
This beach is about 7 Km off the highway before you get to Bateman's Bay. Nice drive out through the forest on a good road,You are supposed to pay $7 for a pay and display ticket and I did but the machine failed to provide a ticket and I worried that the ranger would pounce. Very frustrating. The beach and surrounds are lovely and it would be a great place to camp. I was there in the middle of the day so no wildlife.
Its a nice place but as everyone said we didnt find any kangaroos there. It was a little windy on that day but it is just another beach. Nothing special thought. However, the road which leads to the beach is amazing. loved it
