We love making science fun (because it is!). Looking forward to seeing you again soon.Sincerely,Amy Biber CollsonMarketing & PR DirectorBuffalo Museum of Science
Took the kids here today to see a Curious George exhibit - great for the younger set - lots of hands-on things to do all through the museum - a fun day
A lot of installations about any science. Physics, biology, bugs, history, prehistory, space, you name it. I went there on a Sunday alone, for a geek like me it was a well spent 3h. With kids I would have spent a lot more. The place is really well geared towards kids of all ages.If I have to complain, it will be 2 things:1. The broken installations here and there2. The body room is all in psi, miles, inches, cups and gallons. Given the young attendance, if the country is ever going to join the rest of the world in the SI system of units, it has to start in a place like this (engineer mode).
Sounds like you had just as much fun as your granddaughter! We look forward to welcoming you again.Sincerely,Amy Biber CollsonMarketing & PR DirectorBuffalo Museum of Science
We had a great time at the mummies of the world exhibit. They had an exspensive collection of specimens. It was great for adults and children and the price was reasonable. Not a massive museum but a great way to spend an afternoon!
My young kids love Buffalo museum of science. It's their favorite place to visit in Buffalo.Parents may agree with the opinion that small but decent museum is the best place for both kids and parents. This place is for young kids enough to enjoy for more than 2 hours. If you have annual family membership of science museum in your region. You can get free admission except the members of Ontario science museum. It's not a big and fancy science museum like those in big cities but a great place where a young kids can enjoy enough.
We love welcoming visitors who grew up visiting the Museum - they can't believe the changes we've made in recent years! You should check out our adult events, too - Beerology is just around the corner in April! Sincerely,Amy Biber CollsonMarketing & PR DirectorBuffalo Museum of Science
Our Explorations area for toddlers is the favorite among our guests - we're glad you enjoyed it! Your little one will also love the Curious George and Science + You exhibits coming in February. Be sure to check them out! Thanks for visiting and for your review.Sincerely,Amy Biber CollsonMarketing & PR DirectorBuffalo Museum of Science
For my birthday, my husband and I went to the museum. We're in our late 20s/early 30s and we had such FUN! All of the exhibits were really well done and I love the interactive features. Great photo opportunities and we both learned a lot. We loved the heart rate game, experiencing the weather, shutterbugs (though I only got one of the photos in my email and it took a few days), and the special Mummies exhibit we paid extra to see.We went on a Sunday morning over the summer and we arrived as the museum opened. We spent a few hours and it started to get busy, but not overly so. We were able to wander and not be crowded. This would be a great place to take visitors to the area!
