Several miles of boardwalk, pathways and fishing piers along the river are amazing. The boardwalk is either the lands’ end or sometimes free standing along the coast line of this picturesque and historical town of Stuart. Peppered along the way with fun restaurants, marinas and museums, it is a great way to pass an afternoon. The fishing pier goes a third into the river under the huge over bridge and offers quite an exciting view of the river. You can continue on under the railroad over pass and further west along the river as it turns southwards through a quaint neighborhood, all the way to Shepards Park, a lovely park with more riverside walks and dockage. We walked across the drawbridge to the boat show which was happening this particular Friday. The historic town of Stuart is chock full of great shops and restaurants. All in all, I really enjoyed the day. I own Shadey Acres, a five star vacation home in Jupiter, and since Stuart is only 25 minutes north of Jupiter Farms on I95, I will be adding this area as one of the five star attractions to my Welcome Book!
I have never had a bad meal here. And if you like roasted garlic, you have found your place! Make sure you get it with your rolls!
Always something going on. Stroll along by the river, shop in the delightful boutiques or have a bite in the restaurants. Go to the theatre see a great show. Everything is here right in downtown Stuart's Riverwalk!
Beautiful view, nice walk especially at night! Lots of entertainment, restranuts. We went back each day of our vacation.
There is so much to see on the walk, make sure that you take in the long pier and possibly see the resident manatee that feeds in the area. There is often live music and always great food choices.
We spent a Sunday afternoon here a couple weeks ago listening to some good reggae and enjoying lunch at the Boathouse. We sat outside and was able to enjoy the band while we were eating lunch. Gotta get there early though to get a good seat. This place was busy and crowded but we enjoyed it very much.
This is such a great place! The food is way above average and the service is great! The atmosphere is most enjoyable, as are the other patrons that frequent this establishment. The meals are upscale and enticing. Their wine and liquor selections are plentiful and better than most.
We went to dinner here recently and all of the shops were closed. some of the restaurants were also closed. I didnt know FLorida shut down in November.
What a great concept to walk all the way around the town and under the bridge! Beautiful during the day and at night!
This is wonderful little spot down town with a very urban feel. It reminded me a of Manhattan or Chicago sort of place. The first time I ate at the bar and had a lobster roll. It was delicious and came in two rolls, really enough for two people for a light lunch and it was well priced. The sides were great and the ambiance was delightful. The second time I sat at a table and had a sandwich which was delicious. Good wine list, not too expensive.
