This magnificently maintained links style course is both challenging and exciting to play. Rarely a flat lie and probably the most challenging greens I have ever encountered. All set in the beautiful Snowmass Valley.Beware however, the food at the restaurant at the Snowmass club is a far cry from what you might expect at a club of this quality. Some of it was mediocre at best and some was was frankly in edible. There are a lot of dining opportunities elsewhere. The bottom line however is if you have the opportunity to play this course, seize it! It is a wonderful golf experience on a perfectly maintained course
The practice tee and pros are first rate. The greens are hidden and tough to putt, with many pin placements too close to the edge.Course condition is very good for what I would call a resort course, designed by Jim Eng.
An excellent and difficult course. And you won't find better mountain views on any course in the state. The design is traditional Jim Engh with flat bottom, deep bunkers and many walled green complexes. The course is visually intimidating, but fair if you're paying attention. Traditional parkland course players may be frustrated at times, but you certainly won't be bored.
Such a beautiful course even if you get into trouble. Just look and remember where you are.
The health club is excellent. It has a wide variety of equipment and the locker rooms are terrific.
A wonderfully maintained course with a breathtaking backdrop of Mt Daly and the surrounding mountains. The course seems to get better each year although unfortunately, not my score. A great mountain links layout.
Snowmass Club Golf Course was challenging and absolutely beautiful. Often I found myself lining up shots with Mt. Daley in the background. I would love to play the course again.
Goofy design w bunkers in the middle of the fairways, blind shots into the greens on several holes ( they had to add extra long flagsticks so you could tell where the hole was located), slow green speed. Beautiful scenery if thats important maybe one round would be fun. Nice pro shop and restaurant attached to clubhouse. Semi private, high green fees.
