We have attended a few shows here and always had a positive experience. The center is conveniently located with easy access from Route 287 as well as local roads. Parking lot is a little on small side, particularly if an event is at full capacity, then again we have always found a spot. The center itself is adequate (restrooms and actual convention space seem reasonably well kept), and I have to give credit for the little cafe inside which has traditional convention fare but also a few healthier selections like salads and fruit. I suppose if you are used to Javitz center in NYC or some such, this place may seem dinky but it definitely serves it's purpose and well. Another reviewer mentioned that there are not a lot of spots to eat in the vicinity which could not be more wrong. The immediate area has recently been built up with a Ruby Tuesday as well as a strip mall that has several more informal places (these are all within a very short drive or even walkable distance), and if willing to drive there are many more spots all within a mile or so. Not to mention there are numerous hotels on the same street, and most have passable restaurants inside.
Problems with a parking - parking lot is not big enough for such events.I was there for a first time - would like to see more signs around otherwise it was not easy to find it
Great convention, I met a lot of people. The staff were jerks and very unhelpful, and the air conditioning was a little inconsistent, but overall I had a ton of fun!
Excellent place to enjoy indoor garba night ... Good Parking space and management. It connects me with my native city of ahmedabad. I have visited 4 times so far and enjoyed a lot.
I attended the most recent fly fishing event. I'm new to the sport and I couldn't believe the crowd! It's more popular than I thought. I went on the final day of the event and got there 15 minutes after the 9:30 AM Sunday opening and was shocked to find that the huge main parking lot was already full. I had a good time looking at loads of equipment, exhibits, demonstrations, etc. The show seemed very well organized and the dealers and vendors were courteous and took the time to answer my questions. There was plenty to look at to hold your attention. I ended up buying some equipment and think I got a pretty good deal. The only con I can think of is that I felt the admission price of $18.00 seemed a little high, but I made the most of my time there and enjoyed myself.
Well organized show! Directly next to the Double Tree hotel!! Easy access and plenty of parking! Not the biggest and not the smallest convention center, nut nice!
It's convenient and has adequate parking and is large enough to move around easily. Next door to Doubletree also.
I went there for a convention and its was fun. Walking around and looking checking out new merchandise that was made.
Good sized show and reasonable crowd. Seems like there's one of these facilities everywhere you look in the continental 48 states. This one was fine, actually above average, but how can you rave about a public facility of this type? Bathroom was fine, food OK. Perhaps the best thing to say is nothing I could find to make me avoid the venue in the future. It is attached to a Doubletree and walking distance from a Courtyard; convenient to Interstate.
Old. Tired. Worn out. Needs a face lift and some work. The only thing going for it is that it is near the Doubletree.
