This is a smaller gallery but it took us a while to walk through it because we enjoyed so many of the pieces; some beautiful jewelry, bold paintings......one of my favorite pieces was a combination of a molded mask and painting, but the pieces that knocked my socks off was the photography by Jason Butler. We had been taken pictures during our hikes in Zion Canyon with the understanding that they would never do justice to the beauty of the canyon but the pictures would at least remind us of that beauty. The large, super-sized photos in DeZion Gallery were a completely different ball game. THOSE photographs captured the light, the colors, and the textures of the canyon so well I could almost smell the canyon air. Maybe he'll put a book with a collection of his photography someday!
