what an experience I had in Stevens Point campus, nice people in town and beautiful girls too. the staff in the UWSP are very kind and helpful. I had my ESL classes there back in 2007 and I have nice memories and very good friends.
Graduated from here as a nontraditional student with a Masters in Environmental Education and Interpretation. Wonderful professors, great classes.
I attended the University in the mid-80's and loved living on campus and the UWSP spirit. There clearly have been many updates and changes which I enjoyed seeing. I was very disappointed that the new Union wasn't open yet since I wanted to see what has changed there, but upon my next visit for sure.
I love my alma mater; always new things to see and do, along with hanging out at old haunts, reminiscing, shopping and meeting friends.
Took classes for my UWO MBA at UWSP. Buildings well cared for, nicely laid out campus. My wife graduated from UWSP as well as many of my employees. A good quality education in a friendly small town atmosphere for a very good price. Good food and good recreation in the area.
We attended the American Suzuki Institute Camp here. The fine arts facilities are fabulous. Wonderful theatres and classrooms. The cafeteria on campus is also great. Healthy selections and a good variety!
Here for a summer seminar. It is very inconvenient. - construction everywhere - things spread out. Parking is far away from dorms. The dorm room air system smells moldy. The food was about average for poor cafeteria food - lots of carbs. To me it seems this is such a small college that there isn't much of a "college town" feel about the surrounding area. I think the buildings are not attractive.I will say the recycling system is great.
We were in town for the 8th grade basketball State tournament, and everyone really liked the facilities. This was a very clean place, and well maintained. The campus was attractive as well.
My school, what can I say. Who would thing that in central Wisconsin would lurk a gem of a college with nationally recognized programs?
I've gone here for the past two years, just started my third, and I think it's amazing! The campus is beautiful, the community is great, and the classes are amazing!
