A great place to visit if you love animals! They have all kinds of different creatures so there's something for everyone. I took my 10 month old son & he loved seeing all the different animals & petting them. Definitely worth a visit no matter how old you are. Staff are so friendly & knowledgeable & really make you feel welcome. I'll definitely be going back there!
My son had his 10th birthday party here. The private guided tour was so special and well tailored to the children. Petting Atuki the racoon, feeding the monkeys by hand, watching the piranhas being hand fed! The list goes on and on. It was amazing. The petting room at the end of the tour had an array of animals to pet including a skunk!all the children were given aprons to protect their clothing too. So many nice touches.Sherlock the meerkat was brought out for cuddles too. It was magical✨ Afterwards we used the party room which was a great space with hay bale's, kids loved it. Will be back again and again, best attraction in Teesside in my opinion and fantastic value for money
Spent a lovely afternoon there with 3 adults and 2 children all loved looking at the animals but it was the petting area that was the best staff really lovely chatting about the animals allowed to hold and touch lots of different animals, really enjoyed it
Great day out for the kids very interesting lots ov different animals and reptiles very good set up must say if you haven't been make sure you do
Called in other day been meaning to visit for a while its defo worth a visit its a shame a few of the animals were asleep and shacked up upon our visit but nothing you can do about that.Pleasantly surprised inside its that old saying "don't judge a book by its cover" its defo worth a visit I hope it goes from strength to strength people complaining of pricing its a good price for what's to be seen as an attraction up the road only has a shed load of butterflies to see for around the same cost.A few things to take on board though disabled access is dire for anyone in a wheelchair but eventually you can get in via a tradesmen's entrance, signage needs to be better on the displays and maybe staff to inform what's what and a leaflet upon admission to inform you what's there to be seen a cafe area would be great with a picnic area even if its a vending machine:).Hope to visit there again great way to kill a couple of hours on ourdoorstep.
Took the grandchildren to see the animals and they really enjoyed it. I was surprised to see the variety of animals they have and the petting area was delightful. A wide variety of animals throughout the park with indoor and outdoor areas. Will definitely visit again.
I have visited Pet Mania pet shops numerous times on business and have always been impressed with the vast array of animals but also the care shown to the animals by knowledgable staff. They have always promoted themselves as 'more like a zoo than a pet shop' and with this latest addition to their business this is definately the case. The mixture of animals is excellent as is the way they are displayed. The cages for different types of animals are mixed up so that the visitor does not become bored with looking at similar animals together. The best thing is the accessibility of the animals and the mixture of 'wild' and petting type cute animals - my only regret is I didn't have long enough to visit and to enjoy the experience more. I will endeavour to return as soon as possible.
Loved this place. Visited with a Groupon which I had problems booking online. Phoned the shop, very very helpful staff.Extremely interesting place with lots of different animals. Would recommend for all ages.
Took the kids here and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Quite small (mostly inside) but interesting animals and they loved handling some of them. A young man named Mathew was very friendly and informative and happy to answer all out questions.
