This is the place to go for fresh candy and/or nuts! Cross the NORTH (Veteran's) Bridge from South Sioux City, NE. Stay on Wesley Way. Palmer Candy will be on your left at the 6th Street intersection. Try the chocolate covered orange peel!
when you get candy at the factory, you know its fresh. And the selection is fairly large. I picked some up to take home to my wife.
Palmer Candy is a part of Sioux City history and if you need something fun to do, stop here. You will find a ton of different candies made by Palmer. If you are here near a holiday, they have different gift items related to holidays which of course, will include candy. One counter has a huge variety of truffles and fudge. On Fridays, they have huge chocolate-dipped strawberries. Just do it.
This is one of the prime spots my dad loves to take my kids while we are visiting. They have a little bit of everything. Their fudge is awesome! Of course you can't leave without a box of Bings to take home.
I only say be careful because you could end up leaving with enough candy to last a looong time. This is a great place to visit, especially coming back after decades away. ALL of the candy is fabulous and they even have a little history exhibit. The Twin Bings bring back many wonderful childhood memories. Try some. You will not be disappointed.
This is a great place to visit and load up on some fresh candy if you are in Sioux City. They have more candy then you could possibly try, trust me I tried. They also carry a lot of fresh local spices, coffees and canned goods. The real treat is the fresh made candy. I didn't know there was a difference until I tried it. Fresher really is better when it comes to candy. Be careful though it is easy to spend more then you meant to, we did.
Excellent selection of chocolates and fine candies. Fun for anyone with a sweet tooth - young and old.
made a quick stop for some great candy treats. very nice people, and great treats. :-) very historical candy company
Love the selection! Bing Candy Bars! Need I say any more? Homemade candies... bulk candies... Chocolate Lover's Dream!
It's always fun to come here and get their candy. I love getting the Twin Bing as gifts for our family and friends back in South Dakota since it is made there. I also bought the taffy and some chocolate by the pound. We also got some hot stuff for our son to cook with. This has to be a stop when you are in the area.
