The food is consistently good and the new menu is very nice. As a golf course grill it will surprise you. We have tried many menu items and they are always enjoyable. Some items are a bit too salty, steer away from the soups if you are trying to cut back on sodium and request unseasoned fries. Not a setting for a romantic night out, but definately a nice spot to get something good to eat and enjoy the view of the golf course.
My husband and I, as well as friends and family, golf here and enjoy it. Nice clubhouse, tennis courts, and swimming pool.
My friend and I played Legend Oaks GC during our trip for the Masters 2014. This is a good pretty value golf location with a nice lay-out and an added feature of a variety of wild-life to view (to observe when your golf game is not so hot!). The staff and members were very welcoming and we enjoyed our visit (it seems there are not many Irish visitors). Great sandwiches were served mid round. The only draw-back was the new greens which were not yet up to standard. Having said that tee to green this course is well worth a visit. Also there are no shower or locker / changing room facilities available to visitors.
Played here in early March and found the layout to very pleasant and challenging. This is one more course that has decided not to overseed fairways or greens. The fairways are okay but painted greens are very difficult to putt. Breaks and old ball marks are difficult to see. Good greens are what make me come back. May be back in summer to see what the course is like under good conditions.
My fifth time to play here. People are nice. Greens were in good shape. The course from the Blues is strong. As I am a senior I normally play the whites. A lot more pleasant. Price was fair. GO PLAY.
Great place to grab a burger, fries and a brew or two. Sit on the porch and watch the golfers play the 18th hole.
enjoyed being paired up with a couple of locals staff was very helpful and accomendating I would definetly play again
The golf course is very nice, and used to be even better but the building of houses along the back nine really opened up those holes and took away some of the charm. The restaurant has a new look and the menu changes often. Friday nights are really busy with Team Trivia. The tree-lined street leading to the clubhouse is beautiful. THere is also a pool and tennis court on the premises with memberships available.
Great public golf course...beautiful clubhouse...very friendly staff...and ice cold beer at the bar!
Challenging course but well kept. You will enjoy the experience. They also have other conveniences but I have not utilized those other than the snack bar which was well stocked and the service was good.
