We killed some time here after the wedding. The place is big and on weekends they have live music. They have a nice range of slots I have not seen in other casinos. That was fun!
One of the smaller casinos. The staff are helpful. A little far from Seattle, but the ferry ride can make for an all-day adventure. There was some pretty good Asian food in the side cafe. I would visit again if in the area.
Really interesting setting. Looks like you are in the old west and have gone 150 years back in time on the trip there. But once you get there, you are pleasently surprised by all the niceities. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the food is super. Now, the gambling rules........that is something I just could nt get use to. You cannot play roulette straight up as at any other place (Vegas, AC, Dover etc.) after the ball falls, they then have to play a card to determine who actually wins. Really odd. Stick with the Blackjack and you will be fine.
Took the Bainbridge ferry to Bainbridge Island from downtown Seattle. About a 40 minute ride. A very scenic and enjoyable ride. Only $7.50 round trip walk-on. Ferry holds about 200 vehicles if you drive. Free shuttle to Clearwater Casino for a little action. Shuttle leaves about every 50 minutes. Friendly casino and plenty of machines and tables. A little smokey. Not bad though. After a couple hours and $650 richer, it was a free shuttle back to the ferry and back to Seattle.
We stayed in a water view suite during the Concert on the lawn event. It was so much fun enjoying the concert and watching everyone dancing from our deck.
Well I've never been to a Casino besides this one so I don't have much to compare it to. It was pretty big with a lot of slot machines. However I'm sure all casinos allow smoking but I'm not a smoker and I could barely stay in there for that long without feeling sick.
We stayed here 3 nights on a road trip. There is covered parking with security and cameras we used for motorcycle parking. Staff at the front desk and small hotel bar were friendly and very helpful. We stayed in a waterfront suite over looking the back lawn and entertainment area. The room was clean, very comfortable, and quiet. The views were amazing. We got surprised by a Thursday night concert that we watched from our balcony. It was a blast. There is a well maintained indoor pool and spa area that we used a couple times. The grounds are beautiful and well groomed. The free hot breakfast in the morning was surprisingly good. Took advantage of the free shuttle to the Seattle ferry. Fantastic stay. Don't forget to tip the shuttle driver.
I stayed here in July 2009 with a group of friends (not 2013), the Suquamish were hosting the Tribal Canoe Journey that year so we had a little time in the casino before heading down to see the canoes and tribal gathering. Great hotel, very comfortable rooms, great food and I made full use of the swimming pool and small spa area! Staff all very friendly. I've never visited a casino before. This one was huge, but easy to navigate and it was a great atmosphere.
Friendly and helpful employees, small town feel everywhere. And that's a compliment! Even in the main casino, not too smokey.
Average casino offerings. However, the only food available late in the evening is the "deli". Don't get the nachos. Plastic cheese and stale chips. It has very poor service with staff that just don't care. I saw one individual take his order number card and receipt back to the cashier after a 20 minute wait for his order and ask for his money back because he "has lost all patience". Good luck trying to get a comp drink while gambling. Slots don't pay off very well. That comes from not just me, but the other 8 people in our group attending a wedding. Casino is very smokey but does have a small non-smoking area in one corner. Bathrooms were clean however. The day-bartender in the lounge was very friendly, apparently the only one who really likes his job. I think his name was Brandon.
