Weird gold Course, holes meander among ditches and rain gutters. get rewarded for poor shots and penalized for good shot.New driving range terrific, cost of balls too hi.Restaurant fair, choice of wine and beer poor.
I played it ten years ago. I just played few days ago which was very nice and good condition that I didn't expected . But the rough was too long. May be it was a winter condition now . Be play straight on the fairway otherwise you may couldn't found your ball . I lost two in the rough.

Had some beautiful autumn weather so visited South Surrey for some golf. Overall found that this golf course was very well-maintained and a great value with the autumn rates. The course features great layouts, with water and sand in play at most holes. The greens were pretty firm and fast, the rough well-maintained, some good dogleg holes, etc. We were both beginners and found the course to be a challenge but a lot of fun.One of my favourite things about Hazelmere was that it almost seemed like two different courses, with the front 9 offering a west-coast feel (lots of big trees), while most of the back 9 felt almost like a links course. As beginners, we also appreciated that the course seemed to have a bit more of a relaxed pace. The goods:* Course layout, features, difficulty - challenging for beginners, probably similar for more experienced.* Maintenance, green quality, fairway conditions.* Big pub ("lounge") for apres-golf.The bads:* The range only takes twoonies and is fairly expensive compared to many courses in Van proper - bring change! The uglies:* Nothing worth mentioning.Debated giving a 5/5 due to value, but really this is a 4* golf experience, and worth the trip to the White Rock / South Surrey area.

I'd like to clarify that the prices you quoted were inclusive of taxes and that children 4 years and under are at most charged $1 per year.
