Very educational, learned a lot about marine life in the area, kids loved it, staff very attentive and friendly, even arranged a private viewing of a documentary.
Good spot to see whales, you can sit there for hours and hours as long as you have the patient and see whales, very nice view, good place to lear about mammals.
This was a small but interesting museum. The naturalist who talked to us was especially terrific, sharing lots of information about these wonderful animals.
Little pricey but interesting and had interesting discussion with an extremely knowledgeable staff member. Quite enlightening. friendly and helpful staff.Worth the visit after whale watching.
There actually were whales ....plenty of them ....and just out of season too .......peaceful and just magical!
The museum is very informative just before you go on your cruise to see the whales. The people who work there are very nice and they help you appreciate your visit.
It was difficult to understand as we don't read French very well. It would have been helpful to have English translations.
Bilingual staff, ask for an English book at the front desk. All profits go to whale research. Good movie and interesting displays, plus a great view!
Perhaps good for families with kids to visit. Pricey for a small exhibit. The gift shop took a chunk of gallery space I thought. Embarrasing to see a parent stopping a kid from pulling a blue whale genitalia exhibit as he realized the cord just kept rolling out way past other whales. Otherwise skip this place if you have limited time in Tadoussac.
The small museum has much information on marine mammals, especially whales. They have interactive displays and have many with both French and English. There is a great movie on how they are tracking and learning more about whales.
