park in the parking garage - best deal! Lots of great restaurants and the shopping is very touristy. Visit Clinch Park and watch the sunset
There are many fun shops, restaurants, and sites along Front Street. Definitely recommend stopping there for supper.
I went to Traverse City with my famiy back in May 2010 and it was a perfect getaway for us. I would recommend this place to anyone considering some time alone in the nature.
Our family loves to visit downtown TC for many of our shopping needs. Enjoy the delightful shops and restaurants in downtown TC.
This beautiful restored theater is the best place to see a movie in not only Michigan but maybe the nation. We also went to a lovely filled to capacity xmas eve service here as they often open up the theater to community events. Run largely by volunteers, this place is a gem that film director Michael Moore brought back to life with his vision and partnering with TC Rotary Foundation and many donors. The star filled ceiling is very cool as well as the lovely curtain and screen with excellent sound.
Lovely small town downtown full of interesting shops and great spots to have a meal. Nice in any season day or night.
The ice sculptures were super and the tree lighting was beautiful.Love this friendly city. We have been going for this event the last couple of years and recommend it for all family fun.
If you haven't been here you should come. Front street is the main downtown street with lots of great places to shop, eat, and you can stay in the Park Place hotel right in the middle of it all! Tons of unique restaurants for all tastes.
Great little shops, loved Espresso Bay! We popped in & out of several of the shops. Cant wait to return in the summer to explore some more!
Traverse City is one of my favorite places anywhere in the world. My kids grew up visiting TC and watching it develop into a beautiful area that never loses its considerable small town charm. We especially love meeting family and friends at Friday Nite Live on Front Street with food, fun, music and great shopping. Love American Spoon Foods, the toy store, excellent restaurants and the can't be missed fudge. Something for everything on Front street and parking is easy. I recommend using the city parking garages. Not expensive, out of sun and snow, and reduces the hassle of finding a spot on the street. Extremely walkable and loaded with friendly people. You may even run into Michael Moore during the TC Film Festival.
