Nice place to browse around and learn about the history of the area. From wood mills, to canning factories, to German prisoners of war. Interesting history.

History and antique lovers be sure to stop here. A fabulous museum filled with all kinds of firearms, antique radios, photos, and much more. I love this place and it's a great little town to visit
The Charles Hall museum is a true gem. One man's personal collection of everything from prehistoric relics through antique and modern firearms to incude an amazing collection of telephone equipment. Well worth a visit.
I love to visit with Mayor Hall as often as I can. He is not only a wealth of regional and local history, he is an inspiration. I always leave feeling that I need to go out into town and do something that will make a true difference for the people. Mayor Hall has accomplished so many things for the Town and this region. His collection of pictures is enormous almost something that is hard to take in on the first visit. The firearms collection is another story in its self. The only equal is located in Cody Wy. This is a must see for anyone that loves history!!!!
The Charles Hall Museum is a must stop for any traveler to the area! No one would expect such a marvelous collection for be in such a small community. From guns, Native American artifacts to the nations second largest telephone museum the collections are truly amazing. In building 1 the largest collection is the firearms...there are more but the firearms are very impressive! The gift shop is the museum is one of the best I have been in. When you purchase something from the gift shop a portion of the proceeds go to fund the museum.Building 2 is where you will find the nationals second largest telephone museum. Along with the telephones you will also find a moonshine still and a few antique cars! Mr Hall gives tours which adds to the experience. You walk through Cherohala Biker Gear to get to the museum. The store is wonderful..hundreds of t-shirts!The buildings are clean and well maintained. I loved my visit and highly suggest it to everyone!
We stopped here thinking we were just at a gift shop. Turns out there's a whole museum on the side filled with all sorts of telephone history along with other 20th century fun artifacts. Nice curator, super friendly.
Mr. Halls museum has something of interest for all. I have lived in this community for many years and yet I never tire of visiting this museum. I hope all visitors take the time to stroll through and enjoy all that it has to offer.......
I usually stop here before driving over the Cherohala Skyway. So much love went into this project! I can't remember his name but he was mayor of Tellico Plains for years. This place is full of history! Beautiful antique guns from the civil war and earlier as well as WWII and WWII. Old phones switch boards - toys you name it and they've got it. A good gift store also.
This is like a step back in time of this area! They have a great gun collection, telephone equipment, vehicles, appliances and much more. Admission is by donation only.
