We started with dinner, then happy hour at Paddock Square. DJ Scooter was entertaining. We walked around the square looking into the shops (open til 9:00) .then sat down and listened to Scooter. A great Square to spend time walking around. There is food, decor stores, clothing stores, music, dancing, and cheap drinks. You can walk the square with you drinks.
Not too crowded. Music is great. Surrounding restaurants very good. Ample parking. Great place to bring grandkids for dancing.
super cool- I love Lake sumter landing- this is totally different vibe. the singing area has bleachers that are covered somewhat. love dunkin donuts at this one- movie theater at this location is overpriced- lots of great places to eat both chains and private owned.
Brownwood has music every night with Happy Hour at all the restaurants nightly. It a great place to dance the night away. But Parking sometime is a problem so take your golf cart
Great music and lots of good stores. Always enjoy coming here. Happy hour is always fun and it is nice to see everyone dancing and having a good time
The newest of the Villages town squares with live music every night and dancing. A little limited yet as to venues to eat at but growing. Great Tommy Bahamas store. Movie theater renowned for comfortable seating.
Life size cowboy on horse and calltle sculptures guard the entrance to this new square. Lots of free parking, many shops and restaurants starting to open. Square itself has innovative stadium seating for free entertainment every night. Great farmers market with lots of variety on Saturdays. Love this place!
I LOVE Paddock Square and can hardly wait for all the areas there to be filled. I think what is there so far is a great start. Just like the other two town squares, Brownwood has great FREE live entertainment EVERY night. But I prefer the "stadium style" seating on this square that allows you to see very well the performance on stage from any vantage point. I have eaten at every restaurant there and would return to any of them except Tapas (small portions; large prices). I always take visitors into the Rustic Rose because it is such an interesting store. I'm also very glad to have The Villages Cycles and the MVP workout facility which save me my previous trips to Spanish Springs. All in all, Brownwood Paddock Square is another great addition to The Villages.
Brownwood Paddock Square has many good points. There is a multi-movie theater, restaurants, and various shops some of which are still being opened. The problem with this square is the music stage and seating area. While there are some ground level chairs there mostly is stadium seating. All of these seats face the front and sides of the stage. The rear of the stage is blocked and can't be viewed as it can in other squares. This makes the seating area seem more crowded. Furthermore, seniors don't want to be climbing stairs for seats, especially if having a couple of drinks. The Best thing about the Square are the statues of the Cowboy driving a herd of cattle.
excellent new spot for nightly entertainment, arrive early for happy hour prices on drinks. lots of line dancing done here, easy to join in and learn.
