Amazing artifacts here from all the wars, my friend donated her fathers photos and memorabilia from WW2. It was interesting the things that people kept all those years, and the sacrifices they made. The carved memorials at the entrance are also excellent representing the services.
Completely different than the rest of the rec centers, this one is a mini military museum. If you're a military history buff you can spend hours wandering around looking at all the memorabilia , all resident donations. It can be a bit much when you are just going in for a class, and the old mannequins are a bit creepy, but all in all it is well executed.
All the historical items in the Eisenhower Center were donated by the Villages Residents. The history is a wonderful education for our younger generation
If you enjoy history, you will love the historical display and history presented about President Eisenhower. It is interesting for school age children as well.
Great to see all the memorabilia contributed by all the veteran residents. A wonderful trip down memory lane.
So happy we went and toured this facility. Amazing photos and remembrances collected and displayed in a pristine environment.
If you are war buff this is a great venue. There are tons of photos and uniforms donated by some of the residents of The Villages. All of the displays are well done and it's worth a visit.
This is a very interesting display of Veteran memorabilia--a lot of artifacts and many photographs. The beautiful rec center surrounds this Veteran display and pays tribute to the many sacrifices Veterans made in support of our freedom. Special emphasis was devoted to Eisenhower and his role as a leader.
This center has several rooms of military items from all branches of the service. Awesome place to relive History.
Eisenhower Rec Ctr is a must see when you have guests. There are so many donated pieces to see. Make sure you allow enough time to stroll thru this amazing facility. Shows great pride for all branches of the military. Don't miss it!
