Fantastic park to go for a walk and take photos. The monument replicas are amazing, they all replicas from different locations within Europe. It is good fun to go through all of them trying to recognise them and locate them geographically. There are drinks and snacks vending machines, toilets and other activities available. They also have some peacocks and budgies on a big cage and a real piece of the Berlin wall. Recommended 100%
To get to the park from Madrid,´my family and I took the metro to Avda. de America which is on line 6. Then we went upstairs to the bus depot. There we took bus 224A for 6E one way. That price included my wife, daughter and I. The bus drops you off about 100 yards from the entrance. This new park (it opened Sept 2010) takes you on a bucolic tour of iconic recreated European landmarks. London Bridge, Eiffel Tower and the Brandenburg Gate etc. Great for photo opps and the history of the sites are written in Spanish and English. There is also different playground divided by age and a cafeteria with a 10E a la carte menu. There are ponds where you can rent paddle boats, but they were not open we went on a Friday. They also have a army type obstacle course and freeze tag zone. Groups of school kids were participating in these areas. I think you have to make reservations if you want to use these service. Entrance to the Park is FREE.
The aerial ropes and other activities look exciting. Young people under 18 should be very entertained with the non-monument locations in the park. The park itself is free to enter, but each activity has a charge of 3 to 5 Euros each. The park has replicas of various European landmarks and a piece of the Berlin wall. Take the Cercania to Torrejon and then line 2 to the front gate of the park.
a bit tricky to get to but interesting. Basically a park full of scale models of European monuments. Lacking in shade when we went but should improve with age.
We went during the day before we went to the airport and almost everything in the park was closed. It would have been better to go at night to see the park at its best.
Great for adults and kids, no charge to get in; make sure you rent a car or go with somebody that knows the location in Torrejon de Ardoz
Nice park with a lot of services and Europe attractions, good to share time with family or friends. Couple restaurants in there, and around.
This is a wonderful park for a leisurely stroll and lots to do for kids. A warning though, the artificial lakes make for a severe mosquito problem, our whole party had severe bites on all exposed areas, so take mosquito repellant.
This place I think is the only one in Europe. It has one representative monument from each european country in small scale. It´s cleaned and is big. It´s a bit far from Madrid centre, but it´s worth it.
