I simply love mideaval old towns and Toruń is a perfect example of it. Quiet, stylish, no honking cars. Yet bear in mind the bricks can be slippery in cold seasons, but it looks marvellous in snow.

Torun boasts with three different attractions: New Town, Old Town, both historic, just differing in the centuries they've been built in and the Teutonic castle. The Old Town is cozy and very pictureque, you feel as if you've stepped into a fairy tale about merchants. Majestic official buildings and cute shops stand side by side. Make sure to buy some of Torun's renowned gingerbread here!
