Great not so little museum with many restored Franklin cars. Went with a group that also enjoyed it. Easy to find with directions, but you'd never know it was there otherwise. Try it, you'll like it!
Great place for the old Franklin car lover. Personal guide who knew what he was talking about, a wealth of information actually. Thanks
The café serves excellent southwest food. Stop by the giftshop. Interesting park with Sonora desert flora. Worth a stop.
Took my boyfriend to the Franklin Museum as a surprise date! It would have been difficult to find if we hadn't put the address into the GPS. It is tucked away in a Ft. Lowell neighborhood, and is great for a small "getaway" for the day. We both thoroughly enjoyed our visit. I don't know a lot about cars but enjoyed it just as much as my boyfriend did, who knows everything about cars! We were promptly greeted and started our tour as soon as we arrived. There were three different showrooms/garages to look through full of antique Franklins in pristine condition. The tour guide was very helpful, accommodating and welcoming. This is a great place to spend an afternoon!
a place to discoverthe staff is just nice and we did appreciate our visit. Our guide was mister Bourque and we really liked him.a dedicated man and a tresury of vehicules
We went there this a.m met the curator and spent the next two hours looking at some of the most amazing beautiful vehicles built I had little to no knowledge of these air cooled Jem s that have been meticulously restored and cared for. the history workmanship and pride taken in these vehicles is obvious and a must see for car enthusiasts a north American engendered work of art and a must see
This small car museum is tucked away in central Tucson. You need to call ahead for time and reservations but it is well worth the trip. In addition to classic Franklin automobiles, there are other antique cars and automotive memorabilia.
I'd never heard of Franklin cars, but went here with a tour arranged by the Arizona Historical Society off-shoot "Pathways." We came by bus, so didn't have to worry about finding this tucked-away spot. I'm not an old car buff, but enjoyed the visit anyway. My husband was enthralled. Be sure to begin the visit by viewing the video.
This is a fun thing to do in Tucson. These cars are amazing! And, the docent is among the most knowledgeable car expert I have ever had the pleasure to visit with.
This site is a nightmare to find, the satnav takes you to the road and then we found it was no entry. Eventually we did find it.The effort was worth it.Lovely display of cars. Not one of the cheaper entrance fees
