Initially wasn't much to see until...outside&patio was lovely. Inside was...Just wow! Must see and the wines! Nice selection of dry and sweet & some fruit. BlackBerry Sangria was delicious!
Quaint little winery tucked away outside of a little town...inside tastings very reasonable, luscious snacks, paninis, pizza, flatbread, glutton free pizza (delicious), soups, cheese plates and of course wines by the glass or bottle! Events, outdoor fire pit, tables, covered areas. Really swinging with live entertainment on Friday and Saturday. Check websites for change in hours and special events. Ample free parking. Nice experience.
We met some friends here at paper moon winery for a surprise 40th anniversary party. We had supper- the food was amazing! We aren't big wine drinkers but we did enjoy a bottle of harvest wine. It was very good! There is a large tasting bar, indoor or outdoor seating plus a nice fire pit area to sit and relax around! The owners took time to stop by and greet and thank everyone who was there- very nice down to earth people! We will definitely go back!
This is in the small town Vermilion with a lot to see and do. I live close by but forget about this gem. Took my sister and BIL to taste the wines. We went back the next night for dinner. Wine tasting is 50 cents a taste. A good variety of food to eat. They have board games there you can just sit down and play. They have seating indoor, outdoor, and large tent or by fire pit. They are very informative about their start in the wine business and they know their wines!!!! Hope you get a chance to check this place out and I am sure you will go back!
This is a great winery. I like sweet wine and they have two really good ones. Their Harvest Blend and Fredonia are both very good. They have a kitchen on premises and the food is quite good. They have a nice sized fire pit outside for the evenings in the summer. They also offer live music on Friday evenings.
The wine was good, the live music was excellent and the food was tasty. There was indoor and outdoor patio seating, as well as picnic tables and a fire pit. An overall good time.
Paper Moon Vineyards is about 1 1/2 hour drive for me and I have been visiting it for 3 years. Great wines, friendly people and the staff always seem to love their job and always willing to assist you. Variety of wines to satisfy everyone taste buds. Clam bakes are fantastic and the weekend bands are good.Has a nice selections of appetizers, nice grounds to walk around and zip glass of wine or enjoy seating inside or on the patio. Sit back and relax, always enjoy talking with other individuals who are visiting the winery.A must stop for all to enjoy a glass of wine or a casual lunch.
We had a lovely day winery hopping and stopped at Paper Moon for a taste. The area was hard to find, yet once we arrived we had a pleasant experience. The staff is friendly and the tasting fun. There is outdoor seating and an enclosed area for gathering with friends to people watch and enjoy your selection of wine. We were not there long, at the end of our day. I personally was not wowed by the experience having already been to Orchard Hill where we really enjoyed our visit.
This winery is cute, but its not my favorite. They have food, but it was a little pricey to me. It has a larger area so when its busy it does not seem crowded which is great. Staff is friendly. Beautiful view if you come here during lunch in the summer
nice place to share a bottle of wine and light snacks. i do not think they are using their own grapes yet
