It's an average theater. I really miss the variety of movies shown at the Ritz. But primarily, It's very annoying arrive to see a movie only to have to pay money to sit through a combination of at least 30 minutes of commercials and repeats of coming attractions. Commercials are obnoxious anyway but paying to see them is unacceptable! I like the theater experience and the big screen but it's becoming more important to just stream it at home and avoid advertizements.
I saw a movie on 10/15 the 10:30 showing of Gone Girl. I lost my wallet and I'm unhappy with the lack of concern the associates have about it. If anyone finds a wallet could you contact the theater, they have my information. Thank you
This is my go to theater in the area. There are not a lot of kids and that makes it excellent. They have a lot of adult movies and a lot of movies that are not shown elsewhere. A lot of artsy movies too. I believe there are 16 theaters but I'm not really sure.It is now owned by Cinemark if I'm not mistaken. The seating is great. No matter where you seat you have a perfect seat and there's not any obstructions. It's never freezing in there. They keep it nice and clean too. There are many restaurants and shopping is ample in the area too.As I mentioned earlier this is the theater I go to whenever I go to the movies it is approximately 9 miles from my house if that much. Highly recommend.
This is the most unusual theater complex that I have ever been to. The lobby is quite appealing with leather sofas, bistro tables and chairs, coffee bar and refreshment stand. Come early and relax in an atmosphere that is comfortable and welcoming. In addition it is one of the least expensive theaters around with lower admission costs and specials offered at certain times. Finally the movies that are being shown are first run and as good as any of the better know chains of theaters. The seats are plush and very comfy. Buy a bucket of popcorn and save the bucked. bring it each time and get it filled for a nominal fee. This place is a treasure. We love it here.
I'm not from around the area but was visiting for the week and ended up at this theater two days in a row. Though I think the lobby could use a little bit revamping, I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this theater! It gave me an old-timey, classic movie feel with the decor. There are plenty of seats in each theater, for the most part and the seats are comfy though the screen might be a bit small. Food options were a bit limited, I'm used to having hot foods and ice cream available since I'm not a popcorn fan; but overall, I enjoyed the experience.
At first glance, I thought this was like most other theatres that I have gone to. As you go in and look around it is more like a nice lobby with little tables and chairs where you can also have pastries and coffee. It also has the usual movie food that you can purchase. The hallway to the theatres is set up with sofas and chairs and many confortable places to sit and relax. The emplyees are always pleasant and it is just a very nice venue to enjoy any of 16 movie choices.
OK, so I really miss the olde "Ritz". But now that it's owned by Carmike, it is still pretty nice. The major change is that there not nearly as many "artsy" movies shown now. But I am very grateful to Carmike to have kept the theatre open and to continue to show at least a selection of non-commercial type films. Plus, it's a great deal on Wednesday, $5.00 per ticket!
It's clean and nice here. I didn't eat or drink anything so I can't comment on that. I wish they had the big seats but the daytime prices for movies are so reasonable that I didn't mind sitting in a normal seat. The sound and picture quality was good.
They have the latest movies. The seats are comfortable, however, they are getting a little worn. The place is kept very clean and going there is very pleasant.
This is a good movie theatre with a nice variety of movie offerings, conveniently located to a nice selection of restaurants. The experience would be much better if they freshened it up with new carpeting.
