This was where my boyfriends parents got married so I really wanted to visit, especially to learn more about the Bulgarian culture. I have to say this is possibly the most beautiful places I have ever visited. The interior is astoundingly beautiful. You can also light candles for loved ones and there are different areas to put them in, it was actually quite emotional. There were priests signing which really added to the atmosphere but we left quite fast as we didn't want to disturb the ceremony that was taking place. A must see if you are in Varna.
remarcable!!!everyone must visit this place..it's so beautiful and pure that you can feel god inside you
me and my brother popped in heare and had a great chat with friendly father he was most informative and gave his time personally without hesitation well worth a visit of this Iconic building
If you have lost your soul you can find it in there... The only place I find a peace. Take your time and enjoy.
If you are in Varna, this is absolutely worth seeing. It is very beautiful with lovely decorations and a very Russian Orthodox feel, given its history.
This Cathedral is located right in the centre of Varna, it is quite beautiful and ornate. We were on a day trip from our cruise ship, we spent quite a bit of time inside the Cathedral, they dont allow you to take photographs unless you make a donation but this is no hardship.
The Cathedral is the main landmark of Varna. It is very beautiful to see the Cathedral at dark with its domes bathed in lights, then they look like golden. There are many very beautiful mural paintings on the walls and on the ceiling, showing biblical scenes and saints. It is open to the public and if you want to take photographs inside you will have to pay some small fee. It must be visited.
It is located in the center of Varna and is considered to be the symbol of the city. The building is really remarkable and it is one of the most spectacular religious temples of Bulgaria.
This 19 century cathedral has a stylish baroc architecture and is all painted with murals, with a big nice wooden iconostasis and lots of icons. Visiting it gives one a real sence of devine presence, serenity and escape from everything that suppresses you.
Located in the centre of town, the cathedral is open to the public. Not particularly ornate, but still a very nice cathedral to wander round.
