We had missed this for a few years. Used to be slightly lower price for decent wines. There are ok wines very cheap, like $12 Sauvignon blanc. A $25 malbec seemed a bargain. Cabernets seemed high priced for quality. Service was great! We will be back.
We did a 25 stop winery tour over 4 days in the area. We stopped on Waterbrook on Day 2 in the midafternoon. Very pretty setting and large wine tasting room. They also have a nice selection of cheeses and meats that we added to our tasting sitting in some comfortable sofa chairs in the wine tasting area. While the place was beautiful and the service good, the wine was only okay. Did not taste anything special here and there are much better wineries in the area to check out. If you are looking for ambiance and the wine tasting is secondary, then it is worth a stop.
Yes, the wine was good too. Relaxing atmosphere out on the patio where you are served all of your wine tastings as well as sandwiches if you like. Very nice comfortable outdoor chairs butt (not a typo) beware if it has recently rained you might get your backside wet on those chairs.
Great wine and winery. We love this place! Fantastic location and atmosphere, you won't go wrong visiting this place. Sit, drink wine and eat cheese while looking over the scenic view. What else do you want from a winery? We stop here every visit (including next week!).
I have been to this location to take my homecoming pictures, business after hours, grand opening, birthday parties, and so much more. This facility is great to take pictures and enjoy a gorgeous outdoor scenery while having time to mingle with fellow peers. I am not old enough to drink, but I have heard that they have incredible wine and their friendly staff really helps make the entire location! Defiantly one of my favorite places!
Took a 5 winery tour last weekend in Walla Walla, WA. Waterbrook Winery has a beautiful setting and a bocce ball court, that can be enjoyed with a glass of wine. We sat on the patio and sampled wines, before we were served lunch. We tasted 4 reds and a couple white wines. Their Riesling was wonderful. This winery offered sandwiches, besides the typical cheese, crackers and chocolates. I had a club sandwich, complete with avocado and my husband had the steak sandwich. They were both large, satisfying and we lingered over them, as we sipped a glass of the Riesling. Good start to a wine tasting day!
Beautiful facility, wines were only average. Easy in and easy out for this west end winery. They produce many wines which are not available for tasting. Who wants to gamble on a bottle of wine that is priced over the $25 price point?
We ordered 1 core flight, and 1 reserve flight, to compare all offered. Matta was our wonderful & knowledgable staffer. We took our time on the patio with perfect weather & truly enjoyed all pours, and the Antipasti plate which was a perfect addition to the flight. The Reserve Chardonnay is the FINEST wine I've ever had, and worth ten times the price ($20)!!!
Waterbrook is a mass produced wine, so reasonably priced. I did really like their rose last summer. Winery is worth a visit due to the very nice tasting room, with a view of their pond. Comfortable sofas, lots of space, great architecture.
We have long enjoyed the wines of Waterbrook and as a result joined their wine club. The bad news was that when we joined the wine was good but the wine club was not. We were about to cancel when Teagh, the new wine club manager, talked my wife into giving them another try. And boy are we glad he did. Since the before the first of the year, the communication has been outstanding; the people incredible and of course the wines are still tasty. With all the competition in this part of the world, it takes more than good wine to make the experience work. And boy have they figured it out in spades. We are currently at the Spring 2015 pickup party; the place is jumping with live music and good food. This well attended event is fun, the food is tasty and we couldn't be happier. What a turn around. Great job to Teagh and Michelle and everyone else at this incredible winery. Love it, love it.
