I had ski lessons with Tug in April 2014, he succeeded where many others have failed, he built my confidence and put up with me! He was a great instructor who pushed us to improve. Amazing cant thank him enough.
Just back from a week’s skiing in Verbier with my daughter. I booked 2 morning lessons and a full day with European Snowsports. Our instructor Freya, was fantastic, she knew from our first meeting what our aim was and tailored the lessons accordingly even down to recommending wider skies for my daughter. Our goal was the famous Itinerary run “Chassoure – Tortin” and the 4 Vallies. Freya’s instruction, encouragement and demonstration were fantastic. Our full day arrived and off we went down Totin with superb guidance and encouragement from Freya. It was fantastic, something not to be missed. The rest of the day was spent thoroughly enjoying the 4 Vallies. I fully recommend ES and their instructors. They will fine tune everything to your needs. So my thanks to ES, to Laura for sorting my bookings, to Becky for her excellent advice and of course Freya for her encouragement, instruction, and professionalism.
I had two sessions of snowboard lessons as a beginner with Matt. Each session lasted 3 hours. He is a brilliant english speaking instructor. After just the first day we went to Attelas (2727m) and I was able to go through red and black routes. I had a brilliant time and recommend snowboarding with Matt to anyone.
Thanks for the feedback, we always appreciate it and try to pass it back to the instructors. We look forward to skiing with you again soon.
ESS have been teaching my six-year-old daughter to ski for the last two years. She gets down most things now but the main thing is they make it good fun, while pushing them to improve. Instructors mainly young Swedish guys who seem to have an easy realtionship with the children. Best value is to go in an organised class lesson and they are pretty good at grouping by ability. Availability of group lessons can be a bit patchy outside the busy periods so worth checking in advance and at peak periods you should definitely book ahead. Also they start at 9.30am as opposed to 9.00 for the other so it's a bit easier for the parents to get them there in time. Julian runs the show and is very approachable and his team of organisers (Izzy) do a great job. If you want a private lesson ask for Freddy - he's the best skier/instructor I've ever met.
We were in Verbier over New Year's with our two kids (ages 4 and 6.5) who had never been on skis. We were in luck though as children were divided into two classes (a good thing in hindsight) and paired with Kate and Imi as instructors. Both were fantastic -- truly-- with the kids.I can't say enough about European Snowsport -- we had a fantastic experience from making arrangements in advance of the trip to the "awards ceremony" on the last day. We spied on the kids during their last day's lesson and were happy/surprised to see them each making their way down the "slalom" course that had been set up at the bunny hill/training area. (That practice facility, which was shared by the other schools as well, was really nice...magic carpet, t-bar or j-bar, hot chocolate (!) and just a short drive from Place Blanche and the W Hotel.)We also rented skis from MountainAir, which is adjacent to the pick-up/drop-off location...very convenient. We came from New York to visit friends so I don't know when we'll be back, but when we do get our act together, European Snowsport will definitely be part of our plans!
I had a 3 hour private lesson with Kenneth to learn how to ski. Kenneth pitched the lesson really well, starting with the basics to see how much I would remember. We left the Wolli Park onto the Eis Fluh to practice skills on a longer piste, and then went to a red run so that I could learn to cope with a steeper piste. He found ways to help me remember each drill and was patient and funny throughout.Thank you again for your help!
Great private lesson given to a very nervous skier. Pleasant teacher and went at the pace I wanted. Well done.
I had been a super beginner for ski for 20 years. I had taken some ski lessons before in my life. However I always failed. I feel so fear in high places. I decided to take 2 ski lessons in a same day in the beginning of Feb. My daughter who is 11 attended with me. Though she is better than me of cource. My instructor , Nick was super. He encouraged me and explained me psychologically. He had much much patience. At the end of the day, I could believe in myself. I could ski unbelievablly!!Thank you,Nick! I together with my families went to ski 2 times after that day. I love ski now!!
My wife and had 2 sessions, each of 2 hours with Jean Nicolas Bebie in Zermatt . He was exactly what we needed...an excellent instructor with fluent English, Spanish, French etc. and a really fun guy to be with who gave great tips and inspired confidence. We would highly recommend him to all skiers, whatever level they may be.Neil and Jo Warner
