They only have some ruins, but it is difficult to know what they were (there is a panel with general information at the beginning and at the end). However at the end the view is amazing and I think only for that view is worth doing the trip.
Poor view, but the walk is extremely easy (less than 5 minutes). Great for a picnic, but for the true hikers, backpackers and adventurists, you will get bored here quickly.
Incredible view from the lookout. Sad the place does not have any of the buildings or artifacts that supported the children in their new beginning.
The road up is beautiful although a bit difficult, but the spectacular views you have when you get there are a must see! The only downside is that we were expecting a bit more in terms of available information, as the place itself is an impressive piece of history that takes you back to the roots of the population of this island. All in all, we loved the views so much that when we did our honeymoon photo session we also came again to take some photos here as well, and were lucky enough to have a photographer that could give us more info about the place.
Now this is a site "NOT" to be missed if you are going to Seychelles.I visited this place over 6 years ago, and got the chance to see parts of the trees that at that time lined up the way to the lookout. Those old trees are gone now, but once you reach the lookout,........WOW......this is the best view on the island. The view is breathtaking..........so peaceful..........and the place to be. The entrance could do with a little upgrading to show visitors the way in, but you will not regret visiting this place. I just love it and will definitely visit again next time I am in Seychelles.
The views are great, majestic and inspiring. The drive however is a bit annoying and unless you know that the lookout and the mission are the same you can easily drive right buy the sign
Nice view of the western side of Mahé - Good location to visit if you are passing by. Something for all you history buffs.
It's a nice stop and beautiful lookout point. The drive up there is very pretty. We would also recommend making a quick coffee/tea stop at the plantation down the road.
nothing in the way of buildings except from a few foundation stones but its a nice location on top of the hill with a cool breeze and great views
an abandoned viewpoint with very nice view on the west coast of mahe island. not a lot things to do, but you can sit there and relax.
