Going to a game at Fraley stadium is a wonderful experience. Very family oriented. Every event at the stadium is family friendly. The Blue Rock Games are awesome.
Our family always enjoys a Blue Rocks game at Frawley Stadium. It is a fun-filled evening with family and friends.
Took My Grandson < Gavin > to his 1st out of state MiLB game & needless to say he had a ball. We arrived and had tix in advance ,so I had been there many times before & I took him to Batting practice & showed him how to get balls. We went inside & toured the stadium ( Gavin got all freebies they were offering ) and found our seats. The game started , so after 2 innings I upgraded our seats. Gavin was glad we did , he got to participate in singing " Take Me Out To The Ballgame For 7th inning stretch & was put on the Big screen. We were getting ready to leave & he saw the Mascot ( Rocky BlueWinkle ) , Talked to him & almost walked off with his hat. It was an awesome bonding opportunity with my grandson. This is a Single A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals. Prices were inexpensive ( Parking was free ) Good family atmosphere in park.
We attended a catered event. The food was barely edible. Overcooked, no flavor. The game was ok, as were the fireworks but eat before you come
We live in a major league city just down the road, and while we go to MLB games each season, we always make it our business to make the drive to see the Blue Rocks. Been to many different minor league teams in MD, PA, OH and this is the best experience in minor league ball! Inexpensive, SO family friendly and just all around fan centeted entertainment. There isnt a bad seat in the house, always free parking, cheap good food. Their ticket office is always super friendly and helpful. Fun things are happening bewtween innings, in the stands, in the breezeways and after each game. Our family and every group of friends weve ever brought just loves it here!
I have been at this place a few times with people from work and have a great time each visit. The drinks, beer and food all are good and reasonable compared to the major stadiums
We love baseball, especially minor league baseball so we like too if possible take in a game while on vacation. Frawley Stadium itself is your typical nice minor league venue. The crowd seemed a little reserved and we didn't care for the stadium location. Looking out over the field your view consists beyond the outfield wall of a portion of elevated interstate 95 and its' constant flow of traffic. The constant hum of car and trucks made listening to the in stadium speakers difficult at times. With only one road in and out of the ballpark and malfunctioning traffic lights after the game the ride back to the hotel was very slow and backed up. Comapred to other minor league parks we've visited I'd rate the food selections below average.
This is a nice little ballpark to catch a game. It's the farm team for the Kansas City Royals though, just an FYI. Reasonable prices, people are real nice and they have fireworks every week, lots of promotions, free parking, nice view!
I am not a fan of baseball, but for 10 bucks I had a great time. Good food, friends, silly fun, FUNNEL CAKE. . .I will definitely go again. Best in a big group though.
Tickets are cheap. All of the players were accommodating on both teams for autographs. They had a nice store with reasonable prices. Great fireworks display.
