Beautiful building, and people who work there have always been very helpful to me. My kids and wife are members and get their books here.
The architecture is amazing. The large dome at the entrance is awesome. It looks more like a capital building than a library. Very worth seeing-we spent an hour It its many old wooden rooms.this must see building is in Winchester Virginia.
Beautiful historic bldg with spectacular interior. Quiet and peaceful. Very cool staircase, rotunda, reading rooms, etc.
The building is historic and very striking. The staff very helpful and knowledgeable. They have great programs and services too.
We were so impressed with the outside of this beautiful library that we recommend a visit to all of our friends traveling to Winchester. We were able to see the inside as well which is truly spectacular and well worth visiting!
Very old building that has ALWAYS been a library. Updated inside. Room. Set up in sections, depending on what you came to borrow. Plenty of staff who were informative & friendly. Quiet & lots of places to sit. Membership gives you access to other libraries in Frederick County, VA plus online reservations & searching. Worth visiting.
When I lived in WV this was my place to visit for books. I am glad to see that it is still going strong.
Love this building and the library is thoroughly modern. Love to reserve books and CDs online and await the email to notify us of it's being ready for pickup.
The building itself is historical and interesting. Parking is lacking-street-meter fed only. It's a decent library, but the collections are thin and lacking. It's a snooty place with lots of politics and specific target-group programs. Not my cup-of-tea.
Visited the day after Thanksgiving. What beautiful architecture. Bring coins for parking meters. Close to Stonewall Jackson house.
