This course is set in a small mountain valley just outside of the park. It is short well maintained course but challenging. I did not see any elk, but there was sign stating they might be on the greens. We had a great time there.
We stayed at a VRBO adjacent to the course so my husband liked that he could just walk over there and play 9 holes when he had a couple hours to kill. Didn't particularly care for the course which is very short. We were going to eat there but they were into their fall menu which was limited to something along the lines of hotdogs.
Short course with lots of room, flat and very forgiving . Greens are ruff from wild life but well kept, you only can do so much when an elk walks over it , it's quiet and very scenic of the mountains . Club house is small but very friendly , the restaurant is great and the locals are very friendly too. Only thing there is no sign on the highway to bring you in and only a small sign after you come into the park under the tracks (Golf Restaurant ⬆) but if you have someone that shots over 100 , great place .
This is a short par 69 course. The course is well maintained and in a lovely setting. We were here in mid September, and I was able to show up and get a tee time. I suspect that you would not be so lucky in mid-season.
The last time I played the course, I rented a cabin overlooking the 18th green and played all week. It isn’t a long course but it is in good shape and tough enough to challenge most golfers. There are always specials going on so check to see if they fit your needs. The food at the snack bar is good and at a reasonable price.
Montana is beautiful and this course it's a slice of heaven. Played the corse twice in June and had to dodge rain showers but they were gone as quick as they came. This corse is perfect for the average golfer especially us seniors, just long enough to make it a pleasure to walk or ride. Difficulty is so that my wife who is just starting out in the game, really enjoyed herself. The folks in the pro shop were great, especially when the rains came, had radar up and running so we knew how long the delays were. But most of all, the scenery was gorgeous, even when you hit a bad shot, just looking around and seeing all that majesty, well, it was not easy to stay mad.
My husband and have played this 18 hole course for many years. It sits along the Middle Fork of the Flathead river just outside the West entrance to Glacier National park. Typically June is rainy but today was a gorgeous morning for golf. The course is easy by comparison, few hazards, flat and only 5116 yards. The greens, however have elk damage on about a third of them and generally are slow. A serious golfer might be disappointed with the course but the average golfer couldn't help but have a great round. The views into the Rocky Mountains of Glacier National Park are simply spectacular! Rates are reasonable and the bar/restaurant offer a small breakfast lunch and dinner menu. Tee times generally easy to come by with a one day advance notice
This is a beautiful golf course - not too challenging. Staff at the pro shop were so helpful - kudos to Steve. He was great.
Golf course is short and compact but the greens are very challenging. We went senior day and what a inexpensive day to enjoy Glacier area and be outside. Senior day price included and lunch and the lunch was great.
I haven't been there yet this year, could be the 4 days of rain! I will get there soon. Fun course to play especially if you are a novice golfer. Friendly, well kept and affordable. The little restaurant provides good food too.
