From inexpensive to very expensive items all were gorgeous. Very nice shopping experience. Didn't expect to see that quality of glassware at the mountain top store. Beautiful displays in a very nice store.
Saw glass designs that I haven't seen anywhere else. Learned how important glass was to the area and the many companies that flourished.Hard to get excited about glass but these designs are unlike any other. They also have actual glass blowing exhibits but not the day we were there.
An amazing collection of everything glass. History of glass making in West Virginia. On site glass making demonstrated. Gift shop filled with everything glass you can imagine.
You an watch glass blowing and it is quite interesting. They have many glass items for purchase also.
Its small but at the end, there is a man there and he showed us how he makes glass flowers. It was very cool to watch. He explained things and encouraged us to ask questions.
This Glass Museum rivals some of the best we've seen. The glass work is beautiful, the history well presented, and the displays easy to read and understand. Definitely worth the trip!
It's a very nice place to shop. It's alot of items made of glass, similar to some of their Festival of Light Displays. I especially liked the illuminating glass hyacinths.
It's in the basement of the glass house gift shop. The entrance is in the back of the store so you have to walk past a lot of glass on open tables to get to the entrance. No tour guide so just looked at cases and cases of glassware without knowing much about them. Workshop was better with glass paper weight making demonstration.
Beautiful gifts and objects that make your visit to Oglebay a treasure! Our second visit but not our last.
The glass works are amazing and not too pricey. admission to museum of $7 per person a little steep for what's actually there
