The range is clean and well maintained; However, you pay a hefty price for an annual membership. The business model seems to focus more around the non-licensed "drop-in-and-shoot" patrons than licensed and experienced shooting patrons. For the non-club member, Target Sports will do just fine. For the experienced shooter, Target Sports appears to attract the weekend-warrior shooter who you may or may not want to associate with in an environment where guns are abound. I truly question the backgrounds and affiliations of some of the regular patrons of Target Sports. For the staff, well they appear to be comprised of egotistical want-to-be "soldiers of fortune" who get excited when they smell burnt gun powder. The walls of Target Sports oozes arrogance which is the most dangerous part about the whole operation. I have had a number of positive experiences with the staff; however, I have also had enough bad experiences to nullify said positives.

When we have done group events here, we always had a great time. The gun marshals were great. Unfortunately, we have arrived to discover that the marshalls weren't informed of our reservation, and we have had other times where the admin (Liz) is really not friendly at all is super severe with numbers where they will immediately book the day up unless you commit to a min number of 12. You can't change that number, but you have to reserve so far ahead that it's hard to know exact numbers of your group. Plus, if you have to change the plans, you will get penalized. It eventually became so unmanageable that we ended up going to silverdale gun club instead, which we LOVE!!

I was here for an event supporting the Dominion of Canada Rifle Association and the staff were great, friendly and helpful! The range is well run and they have a good selection to choose from.

Where else can 3 English girls get to fire 9mm Handguns and semi automatic rifles at Zombie targets!? We had a great safe time with fantastic help and guidance from the very friendly staff. Highly recommended as an alternative thing to do on holiday.
